hi..im a newbie here..gusto ko lang po malaman ang opinion nyo kung dapat pa ako kumuha ng picanto..i read a lot of reviews and reactions (local and international) re the new picanto and i also read reviews on other subcompact cars. most reviews favored the picanto and i think they were fairly objective coz i myself made an evaluation and comparison and picanto topped the list. but there are two things that bother me. the first is that the philippine version seems overpriced. i happened to learn yesterday that the euro and uk prices are almost exactly the same with our local price, but there are important specs that have been removed in the phil version like abs,airbags,start/stop engine, sunroof and others. ok n rin kung walang sunroof and other specs but with those other important specs removed, they're selling the unit with the same international price ?? i think the unit should be at least 50k lower. another thing is the FC. i read a blog yesterday. the blogger claims that to his surprise, his car registered only 8-10km/l on city driving which is contrary to the report that the picanto runs 18-20 or even 21 km/l on city driving with traffic while the highway driving is around 27 km/l. a replier replied and agreed with the blogger coz he experienced the same thing. now i'm bothered. based on my needs, subcompact cars fit me the best..but the two concerns are sort of holding me back..totoo ba na hanggang ganon lang kababa ang FC nya?..and do you think bearable n rin yong price kahit wla yong mga importanteng specs..hope you'll enlighten me on this..

Hello po. Tanung ko lang regarding adding additional grounding or grounding kit. Kase po balak ko po mgdagdag ng groundings DIY lang. San po nilalagay yun grounding sa + or - ng battery? based sa grounding ng pincanto nasa positive ata yun stock grounding nya at sa pagkakaalam ko groundings nasa negative.

hi guys..i happened to read this blog a few days ago re the new picanto The Bigoatee Mumbles: The 2011 (2012) Kia Picanto Review then biglang may reaction yong blogger at yong isang replier sa FC nya.. since i'm concerned about picanto's FC kasi plan ko talaga kumuha, i also posted a message in that blog..then last night i saw this site.. 2011 Kia Picanto | Unbox ..you should read the owners' reactions .. kasi pareparehas complaint nila sa FC ng bagong picanto, same with the ones in the blog. parang pinagiisipan kong di n muna kumuha ng unit until kia fixes this issue..

Hi sir, sa negative terminal po yung grounding kit.. Pag sa positive terminal niyo ilalagay yan, magspapsark yan.. Kung 5 yung wires niyo, lagay niyo Negative Terminal to Body, NT to Engine, NT to Alternator, NT to Tranny, NT to Ecu..

Kung di niyo po alam.. Pagawa niyo nalang po sa iba..

Madalang na daw ang dating ng AT na picanto ayon sa Sales Agent kasi may rio naman daw. More like kasi may FC issue ang AT na picanto... lol... Too bad as this is really a nice car... maybe they can come out with the diesel variant or one with the 1.2 engine of the rio.

anung spark plug gamit nyo sa picanto nyo? papalitan ko na spark plug na pica ko its been 4 years na wlang palitan .

sabi sakin SA ng kia westgate alabang na may darating na picanto with 1.2L with DRL and projector, LED tail lamp.

pagmagpapalinis lang ba ng a/c ganun din gagawin? katakot naman baka hnd maibalik ng maayos.

Unfortunately its pretty much the same with all the newer cars. The aircon lines are located in the center instead of the driver side. I saw a mazda 3 in the same state for a normal cleaning service (8k service pa lang wala pa yung parts) sa frigid zone. 5k or more for labor alone is just too much.

Gts congressional ito. But pagdating sa ac, mas ok pa din sakin kay mang mario not too far from here.

Sira cooling coil nito, medyo stupid design on modern cars, buti pa dati glove box lang aalisin. Mazda 3 pati daw pinto binabaklas pag nahirapan yung gumagawa.

I just wait til masira ac saka ko pinapagawa. Especially om the units na tanggal dash....

Merun na po ba ngtry ng total gas na unleaded? nghahanap po ako ng gas station na walang 10% ethol? kase po both shell and petron meron. gusto ko lang po ma try

Saw the 1.2L Picanto in GB3 this weekend. it was in the pimped up GOLD edition with all the chrome... and upgraded head unit. Still when asked no news about the AT version or the diesel version. Looks like the AT issues have not been resolved... strange that it is taking forever to address the FC issues.

Mga Sir - wala pa rin po ba balita sa Kia Picanto A/T about FC issues? ngpareserve na po kasi ako ng unit... A/T 1.0. Sabi ng SA, may darating daw ngaung 2nd wk Mar but I doubt it. Nahuli na ako ng basa sa mga blogs dito kaya napadeposit ak - di rin nbanggit ng SA ko about FC issues ng Picanto samantalang RIO ung una kong choice..
