i just went to kia marikina last monday to have my kia pride serviced... Maganda nga yung new picanto pati interior niya mas lively ang pagka two tone... may built-in na fog lamps narin kaya di ka na bibili pa at a price 490k lang.... medyo napapaisip tuloy ako kung getz o picanto.... tinapatan din nila yung promo ng hyundai... ang kia picanto may 15%downpayment... tapos free LTO, Free insurance and kulitin niyo lang yung salesmanager mapapafree chattel pa kayo... may kasama narin na parang cover doon sa likod ng upuan di ko alam ang tawag doon pero pag nilagay iyon sa likod ng rear seat eh di na makita yung laman ng rear compartment mo unless na buksan mo yung door sa likod... parang tray siya...

ok ba talaga ang picanto? lahat kasi ng sasakyan namin puro kia na, carnival at pride... kaya medyo nag-aalangan din ako... kasi baka mabigyan na kami ng loyalty award ng kia..... :hysterical:

ang nagustuhan ko sa picanto ay mas roomy ang rear niya pag nafold na yung seat sa likod... kasi parang jazz ang style ng pagfold ng seat kaya mas madali maglagay ng mga cargo....

ilan ba ang fuel consumption nito????

[SIZE=3]As you may know, the new Picanto (2008) is already out and is lovelier than ever..anyways, here's the dilemma: one dealer offered me a picanto (2007) and is willing to give me a P40,000 discount and offered to adjust the monthly interest rate in my favor to accomodate my monthly ammortization.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]Another dealer offered me the 2008 model with a low downpayment with a low monthly terms. [/SIZE]

I'm ordering the "morning" emblem from a friend. Thats what they call it in South Korea or KDM.

If you view from the previous post. You can see that we Picanto owners have different fuel consumptions mainly because of driving style, the location or time of travel. The specs indicated that the new Picanto have EPS or Electronic Power Steering. If so it will add a little in HP and in fuel consumption "I THINK".

Additional question po, i've back read some threads, yung side mirror daw may blind spot? meaning yung side mirror eh pang bahay (flat) hindi pang regular modern cars (a bit convex) ? na improve na kaya itong minor inconvenience na ito sa 2008 model?
BTW, i have an aveo, never test driven it, nag sisi ako gusto kong isauli soon as i drove it on the road. Reason? yung left side mirror pang kubeta, flat, kailangang pihitin ko pa ulo ko, nearly got sideswiped on a merging traffic, may sasakyan pala sa tabi ko hindi kita sa mirror. Para sa Misis ko sana yun, kaya lang ayaw niya gamitin baka makasagi/masagi lang siya. Attaching a fisheye mirror is also confusing.
Changing lanes a strain for me, baka kaka lingon ko sa tabi ko hindi ko mapansin nag preno na pala yung sa harap ko.

Does anyone know where to buy a cheap fog lamp for kia picanto? I asked pips from Kia Pasay; the fog lamps will cost 7k including the installation, the labor charge is 3500. It's kinda expensive.

I got mine last year for only 4,200 petot including installation and OEM switch at Kia Wheels E. Rod plus 10% discount because I had my PMS there.

But they didn't follow the wiring by book meaning they created a new line and own separate relay thus when the keys are not inserted it's still lit not like the factory installed fogs which it's not lit even though the switch is on when the keys is not inserted. But it doesn't bother me.

its up to you sir.... the first edition picantos are also good, if you can find one that has a low mileage on the odometer as well with a good maintenance record, i guess its a good buy already... for me i liked the 2008 picanto because it comes with a built in fog lamps, keyless entry and alarm as well as the tray at your rear.
