I think someone from the picanto group umakyat na sa Baguio and others went as far as Ilocos and to Albay.
    Marcos Hi-way is safer po.

Bro di ba umingay yung makina nung nag E10 ka. Experience ko kasi sa lancer nung tatay ko na nung ginamitan ko ng E10 medyo umingay yung tunog ng makina. Kaya parang nag alanganin ako gumamit ng E10 for my Picanto.

Some of us did. I think there are back posts on it if you search.

My wife, daughter and I drove up to Bagiuo 3 years ago on our Picanto. We did not know the way then. But we have a map, heheh=) We simply followed the general direction and asked for directions when in doubt.

On the way up we took Kennon road. No problem with Picanto, just remember to turn off your ACU when climbing very steep inclines. No doubt the car is spirited and responsive but I assist it whenever I can by turning off ACU when it needs to concentrate power in climbing and overtaking. At any rate, air along Kennon road is clean, fresh and cool anyway (unless you're behind a smoke-belching vehicle.)

On the way down, we took Marcos Highway. Here's a tip: turn ON your ACU when climbing down. If you wont, the acceleration by gravity would be too much for either engine brake or disk (foot pedal) brake. I found this out the hard way when I smelled something burning on my front tires=) My windows were open because the air was still cool and the view was simply breathtaking. I decided to turn ON the ACU thinking the added load would naturally slow down the car well enough to control without using the foot brake anymore than absolutely necessary- just engine brake at 3rd/4th gear alternating. It worked! At second gear the engine would be screaming for relief.

Dont forget to go to the strawberry fields for fresh fruits; and Mines View for those mandatory stawberry Jam from Good Shepherd=)

Same here. I only get around 11-12 K/L from work to house (4.5km - Roxas Blvd. pedro gil to Pasay libertad). Now I get around 15-18 K/L From Roxas blvd. to Mamplasan Laguna.
