Hello mga Picanto owners, Ano na ba improvement ang 2008 Picanto beside the obvious one like the head lights. Any significant improvement? What about the engine is there any improvement? How much it cost now? Thanks!

engine is the same. face lift have mdps or electronic power steering. Air con is automatic climate control. Current price is 560 for manual and 610 for matic. the new one with the current price will have all power windows and power locks and with rear wipers.

mga sir tanung ko lang kung anung gas gamit nyo? from start ng nakuha ko pica namin shell unleaded kaagad well ng try ako ngayun ng petron XCS well for 3 full tanks na pero sa tingin ko tumaas naman FC ko. shell unleaded 93 octane while yung XCS 95 octane. anu po ba mas maganda gamitin?

wow galing ng i10 lumabas na sport edi nila bat yun sa pica hnd ata nakarating pinas biglang dami ng i10 sa streets. well i think na hyundia kia motors na ngayun same nmn tlga spec nila and less cheaper pa.

I posted my question here and not in the car alarm thread because i would like the opinion of picanto owners. Want to ask the following:

1) what brand of keyless entry/alarm are you using on your picanto and how is it?
2) if your alarm system did not come with the car, how much did you spend on everything (system and installation)?

mine came with the car audiovox installed. how is it? hmmmm, well i think its the very basic alarm system i've ever seen so far so good though

Has anyone of you having vibrating issue with the rear window of Picanto? Nag ba-vibrate yung sa akin especially kapag pangit yung pagka shift mo ng gear example from 2nd gear to third gear..medyo nakakairita kase lalo na pag walang music sa kotse dinig na dinig..what could be the problem?

confirmed guys.... yung mga bagong dating na picanto na priced at 575k do have rear wiper, 60/40 folding backseat, all power window plus yung side nya sa may pinto kesa black ay body color na rin. Just seen the unit at kia pasig kanina after ko mag paservice..

sir hnd kaya yung plate mo sa likod yung ngvivibrate? i experienced before thinking that rear window is vibrating pinacheck ko kaagad sa casa and plate lng pla ngvivibrate they just put some double adhesive tape nawala.para hnd lng mg touch yung plate at yung mismong car( hnd ko alam tawag dun e)

hmmm kulang nalang ata yung fender light same package na sa i10 bat kase ngayun lang linabas yung added features dapat unang labas ganun na like sa brochure nila(body color yung side at yung side mirror din wla yung black lahat body color talaga i think merun din fender light)

If you want naman you can upgrade rear wiper and all power windows and even power side mirror with the signal light. I'm currently on the process of converting to rear wipers. I already have the rear mirror with the hole for wiper, wiper motor, rear panel, and the wiper assembly. Still waiting for the main wiring assembly (top grade) and the OEM harness.

Fender light is for 04-07 picanto but some countries also have fender light for 08. The top grade 08 picanto have the signal light on the side mirror.BTW. I installed fender light in my 05 picanto. The fender light is the same as other kia and hyundai models like (i10, getz, rio, carens, etc)

wala pa pong 2 months namin nabili yung picanto 08 namin pero bigla na lang kaming me parang kalansing (o tunog spring o shocks na umiingit or lumalangitngit) na naririnig sa left side ng likod namin.

bihira naman po kaming me pasahero sa likod. usually kami lang dalawa ng asawa ko pasahero. pero mga 1 week na po namin naririnig na me lumalangitngit sa likuran. usually pag nalulubak o nagte-turn kami sa kanan.

meron po bang naka-experience ng ganito sa mga picanto nila?

Problem solved! Even before we had the chance to bring it to the Casa.

We discovered na yun palang lumalangitngit is yung upuan sa likod... dun sa latch part. so everytime malulubak or madadaan sa hindi pantay na kalye kumukuskos yung latch at yung part ng upuan na kinakabit sa latch.

picanto LX 1.1 AT - 635K; hyundai getz GL 1.4 AT - 578K. dati halos pareho lang price nila ah, mas mura pa yata picanto dati.. sobra naman columbia magtaas ng price.
