Hi po, new to the motoring world po, sorry medyo newbie question.

Does KIA casa service centers only cater to brand new or in warranty vehicles? I own a 1997 sportage and was wondering if I can have it checked sa KIA service centers mismo. I'm coming from mandaluyong, if pwede yung car ko what's the best branch to visit?

Kia will service both in-warranty and out of warranty vehicles. You can go to Kia Pasig since that will be the closest to Mandaluyong.

Hello, ronron. I know your post is over a year old, but I'd like to ask if you've been back to Kia Pangasinan lately?

I haven't personally seen their new location, but I am aware that a few months ago they moved to a bigger area in Calasiao beside Haima Cars (also owned by the Laus Automotive Group).

I seldom have my Sedona serviced there because it has been out of warranty for some years (2002 model), but the last time I was there was late last year (when they were still in Dagupan). I had my 280,000 km PMS done on the Sedona, along with timing belt replacement. I was pleased with the quality of work they did.

I sold the Sedona a few weeks ago as I will be buying a subcompact for solo travel to QC. I was wondering if any forumers have had recent dealings with Kia Calasiao as I am seriously considering the new Rio sedan in my shortlist of candidates and I want to know if the service of their nearest casa has improved.

Sa mga nasa Norte, please avoid Kia Dagupan. Their service sucks. Imagine mo tatlong dealerships sila (Hyundai, Chevrolet, Kia) pero iisa ang service area nila. As in siksikan ang mga nagkalabo labong nakapilang sasakyan. napakahirap magmanuever sa loob kahit na idrive pa ito ng SA paloob.

to top it all, napakatamad pa ng mga mechanics nila lalo na sa pag PMS. Ilang beses na akong pabalik balik dun pero everytime na bumalik ako, may sineservice silang isang kia na sasakyan (tig isa lang kasi kaya nilang iservice kasi yung iba, pang hyundai at Chev). Nagpa reserve ako ng slot minsan pero nung araw na pupunta na ako, wala daw yung mechanic nila nag seminar!!
next na punta ko, puno na naman daw. walang kwenta talaga. I heard na maganda daw sa Kia Pampanga but that would be a good two and half hours away from my place.

I have no choice kasi taga Pangasinan ako. Meron bang Kia casa na hindi ganito kahirap ang magpa service ng sasakyan?

Had our 2011 Carens 1st PMS check-up at Kia Pasig (Amang Rodriguez Jr. Ave.) serviced... Nice service! Call Mr. Eddison Pagtapunan he is the SA there. We'll be back there!!

Ok naman sila so far. Look for Ronan Flores. Sabihin mo maselan ka sa sasakyan at dapat nyang bantayan maigi kung magpapaservice ka. As for the facility, maayos kasi bagong renovate. Hindi ko palang masyadong napipitsarahan ang workmanship nila. Hilig ko kasi panoorin ang technician pag ginagawa ang sasakyan, pero sa kaso nung Rio di ko pa nagagawa.

Thumbs DOWN to Kia Acropolis! Brought my Carens to them 3 times pero wala silang naging solution sa front suspension knocking sound!

- Feb 25, 2012. Iniwan ko yung carens sa kanila ng whole day to diagnose the problema at nagbigay din naman sila ng suggestion... Palitan daw ang lower arm bushing at pinapalitan ko naman... Noong kukunin ko na yung car, sabi sa akin ng SA nila na may tunog parin daw! I payed the parts and labor and told the SA na ibabalik ko sakanila ang sasakyan..

-March 10, 2012. Ibinalik ko ulit yung sasakyan sa kanila... after half day of evaluation, they called me na kailangan daw palitan ang front suspension upper bearing. I ask the SA kung sigurado ba sila na yun talaga ang sira... Confidently, yes sir agad ang sagot niya! Siyempre mali siya kasi nandoon parin ang knocking sound! I told the SA na dapat parts lang ang bayaran ko kasi back job naman ito pero hindi pumayag ang service manager at nagbigay na lang ng maliit na discount. Sinabihan ko ulit sila na ibabalik ko ang sasakyan pero naging busy ako sa work(went abroad for business trip) kaya May 19 ko na ito naibalik sa kanila.

-May 19, 2012. SA test drive the car but I insisted that Service Manager and I will join him... During the test drive, nagpalitan na sila ng idea at pagbalik namin sa shop nagbigay agad sila ng instructions sa mga mechanic nila... After waiting for 6 long hours inside their very hot and humid showroom, they gave their recommendation: 1. Change L&R Shocks, 2. Change L&R Upper Shock Assembly, 3. L&R Stabilizer, 4. Stabilizer Bushing. Sabi ko bakit parang ang dami niyo naman gustong palitan? Hindi ba pwedeng isa-isa lang muna ang palitan? I ask for the price ng parts pero down ang system nila that time kaya hindi nila naibigay agad ang price but they promised to text it to me ng Monday, May 21.

-May 21, 2012. No text received kaya ako na lang ang tumawag. Hindi pa raw available ang price. Waited for 1 week pero no feedback from them.

-May 26, 2012. Before going to NAIA II to fetch my parents, dropped by their shop. Tinanong ko yung SA kung ano na nangyari doon sa mga parts for quotation... Ang sagot lang sa akin... ay sorry sir nakalimutan namin! Toink! Sabi ko na lang na early pa naman baka makuha pa nila ang price sa CMC... I left their shop and went to NAIA. On my way to NAIA, I received a call from the SA, P1800 daw ang stabilizer at P800 naman ang stabilizer bushing at kailangan ko daw mag bigay ng 50% DP sa mga parts... Fortunately, while on my way to NAIA II nadaanan ko ang KIA Pasay. And since I still have 2 hours waiting time for the arrival of my parents I had my car checked by KIA Pasay if they have the same findings with KIA Acroppolis. Kia Pasay immediately entertained me. I stated my problem with the carens and ask them kung pwede nila tignan. They test drive the carens and immediately may recommendation sila. They lifted the car and removed the stabilizers, binaba nila ulit tapos maneuvered the steering wheel for several times at nawala ang lumalagatok na tunog! Pinakita nila sa akin ang deffective stabilizers kaya they recommended its replacement. Pinalitan din nila ang transmission support kasi ito daw ang cause nung malakas na lagapak pag nalulubak. No need to change shocks, upper shock assembly at stabilizer bushing kasi maganda pa raw at walang problema. After my visit to KIA Pasay, the unresolved problem was fixed! At ito pa... P1400 lang ang stabilizer sa KIA Pasay! P400 cheaper than KIA Acropolis!

To all KIA owners, think twice before having your car be serviced by KIA Acropolis. I will never go back to KIA Acropolis but definitely go back to KIA Pasay.

Bago lang ang acropolis, bago rin mga technician siguro at obviously, di marunong ang service manager. Doon ako pinapapunta ng office namin for servicing. With your experience, I will not risk having my car serviced there.

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a 2nd hand 97 kia sportage. I got it in pretty rough shape and I've been trying to fix whatever I can, pero it seems to never run out of problems. I was thinking, is there such a thing as an executive check up for cars, where they will check virtually everything in the car? And would It be a good Idea to get one from a Casa? How much would that usually cost?

Very satisfied with the crew of Kia Global City. Drop off the car in the morning, go to office, pick it up in the afternoon :-)

Casa will always put time rather than distance only into their PMS for commercial reason.
Hindi naman napapanis ang langis so why define by time. What if you only traveled 100kms
in a span of 3 or 6 months, does it mean PMS is necessary or meron na ba kailangan palitan
na part?
