Sir, Ang alam ko nyan dun lang talaga sa kia dealer mo e endorse for check ups and other services (especially if under warranty kapa). But lately when I ask other authorized KIA outlets and services shops, they told me na pwede pala kahit saan basta kia authorized dealers na may car shop services, provided parin yung warranty mo.

Sakin kasi, eh nasa NORTH EDSA pa na KIA, even I am satisfied with there services eh, nalalayuan ako, to think I am from Mandaluyong so dito nalang sa malapit.

By the way libre ba ang minor scratch touch up? Nabasa ko kasi dito sa Batangas bayun na KIA shop libre? Ayos ah.

Hay... nabiktima na naman ako ng Kia Alabang.

I've told myself I won't bring my Kia Sedona there anymore after I was dissatisfied with their previous PMS. Kaya lang when my ride almost overheated, sya ang pinakamalapit sa amin so I had it towed there. Okay naman ang trabaho nila noon, they saw a T-tube(?) which broke, tapos nagpasadya sila ng bakal na T-tube(?) dahil yung supplied daw ng Kia ay madali talagang maputol. I had to wait almost a week pero okay lang, matibay naman daw yun. So okay naman noon.

For my 60k PMS I decided to go to them again kasi nga okay naman yung last na ginawa nila.

Aba, when I got the unit back, may whirring sound sa front right wheel usually in the mornings. Tapos after 5 days yung lock naman ng passenger door sa right, ang hirap mag-lock. You'd have to really slam the door para sumara. I texted my service advisor, di na sumagot.

Yung whirring sound, noon pa meron nun. I had a PMS done at Kia Alabang and they said I'd have to replace engine mountings 1 & 2 daw and the price is 8k! Sabi ko observe ko muna.

Next na tune-up, I had it done at Kia Mandaluyong and when I told them about the whirring sound, they checked it and the engine mounting didn't need replacement pa naman daw. "Kami na ho bahala dun." was what the adviser said. When I got my Sedona back, nawala nga yung ingay.

Now it's returned and I'm just waiting for the next tune-up para sa Kia Mandaluyong ko na lang dadalhin para ipaayos ang pinaggagagawa nila sa Alabang and to have my rear door locked fixed na din.

Iwas na lang kayo sa Kia Alabang. Hinala ko niluluwagan talaga nila para ibang service charge na naman! To think I paid them 2,500 for the PMS alone, di pa kasama yung ginastos ko para sa change oil etc. Another 3k na naman yun. I paid them around 7k for my 60k PMS! Tapos I was expecting every nut and bold tightened plus the hinges re-oiled... wala, tuyot lahat. Ako pa naglagay ng oil sa mga hinges kahapon!

Parang malaking talyer lang ang kia alabang... Generally hinde maganda ang kia casa network, minsan yun yung humihila sa kin para tanggalin sa listahan ko ang kia.... The alternative is Kia Binan in laguna, operated by Areza motors.... Bunch of crooks ang tao dito... Magnanakaw pa.... Mang gagantso pa.

Mas lumakas na yung ingay sa right front area ng sedona ko kaya I was thinking of going to kia mandaluyong next week, kaya lang I tried calling them up, wala na nga.

So now I either have to go to kia pasay (hindi ko alam kung saan yun) or sa kia alabang na naman! Hay naku...

What about kia global city, okay ba sila tumrabaho? Do they do repairs there? Yung kia sa may don bosco I asked them before, di daw sila gumagawa e.

Adding some testimony about Kia Alabang.

sorry, long read but these are all facts:
    1) Kia Alabang consistently gives higher prices for accessories and parts. I've inquired for fog lights, a couple of parts that needs replacements.
    2) commisioned kia alabang to handle repairs or cracked windshield for our kia carens. 1st time may leak ibinalik ko. 2nd time may leak pa din. Do they ever do QA?
    3) May kailangan palitan na part sa aircon ng carens dati (minor part lang, yung host.. i forgot exactly). service advisor says 3 weeks ang lead time for ordering, wala magagawa kung ganon talaga. it just so happen that my wife accidentally bump into someone who knows someone at kia plant here. we asked around, na trace yung order namin na parts. dumating na daw and ready for pickup. less than a week ito after namin mag order, so ok we are expecting kia alabang to call us. when they did not, we called them. di sila aware na nasa planta na pyesa (o di nila sinasabi sa amin) sabi mga 1 week pa daw ulit bago nila maikabit. yung pyesa na yun kaya ikabit sa aircon shop in 2 hours or less. napilitan lang sila ikabit when we insist at nung sabihin namin na nasa planta na yung pyesa. in short, walang malasakit sa customer tong service center na to.
    3) when inspected their work it was ok, pero ang dumi. puro langis na yung engine bay.
    4) immediately after gawin yun aircon (wife ko ang kumuha at hindi ako), pag uwi sa garahe and when we left the next day, may oil leak. now my mistake is i did not report this immediately, i waited for the next service schedule (2nd mistake is to still go to Kia Alabang after all my misfortunes). Now, it turns out the carens' oil pan is cracked "daw" baka daw nalubak, yun daw ang source ng leak. Well, baka nga dahil sa lubak, so I am not blaming this on them (coincidence lang siguro na nagsimula yung leak after nila gawin yung aircon). Eto ngayon... the price they gave mo for the oil pan replacement is again, the most expensive among dealers, syempre i asked around.

Ngayon, type namin yun new kia picanto, and was asking for a test drive at Kia Alabang (dito kasi malapit bahay namin). Pero habang nililinis ko yung maduming engine bay ng carens kanina, na realize ko bakit ba ko mag bother dyan sa Kia Alabang? Pag dun kami kumuha ng Picanto e di they now have 2 cars to mess up.

So Kia Alabang, you just lost yourself a customer. I feel sorry for myself, for not realizing sooner. Kia Alabang never even apologize for all the hassle they caused me, especially the leaking windshield replacement.

I even have doubts about Kia in general now. The cars are good, the dealership/service, it seems, are not good enough.

May natitira pa ba good casa for Kia cars? Saan kaya? I love the carens and would hate to get rid of it, kaya lang pag wala ako nakita ok na casa baka mapilitan ako. I need a casa I can trust.

Sorry for the rant guys.. thanks for all your help.

Kia Global City - Avoid like plague !! The very first time I had my Kia Carnival serviced there. They locked out the original Clarion stereo unit and deadma sila and told me locked out na raw when I brought in the car - lekat eh how could that be eh they were listening to the radio nga when they brought it into their service bay ?!?? I had to replace the whole stereo cause even Clarion service center here don't have the codes - that was March this year. Then ako naman si tanga, I had it serviced by them again just last week for 20K Km check-up - kasi nga so near sa amin. Pati yung kaunting gasgas sa bumper sa likod pina re-touch ko na rin. Hay naku !! Naayos nga yung kaunting gasgas pero the backing sensor is broken - parang OPEN CIRCUIT mga sensors. Can you imaging trying to back-up a Long Wheel Base Van without these ? When I notice I called back the service adviser Efraem. Pinadinig ko sa kanya yung sound when you out the gear in reverse - sound like a parakeet in heat ! Normal daw yun. Sabi ko no it's not as I've been using the van for 4-years and I know how the properly working one sounds. Sabi ko sa kanay pa tignan mo baka putol yung connections sa sensor. Hinala ko kasi when they pulled down the bumper for repaint nakalimutna nila yung wirin ng sensor at nahila ito at na-damage. Guess what, after 30-minutes this guy comes out and tells me kakausapin daw ako ng electrician nila. so I went with him and this so called 'electrician' kuno showed me the backing sensor controller anjd told me ito daw yung sira and must be replaced - cost daw is Php 2,500. Baka daw na-damage ng nabangga sa likod ? Huh ?? Eh it was working for over a month na afeter na-halikan n ng taksi sa likod at di man lang nagka kupi yung bumper and HELLO the controlled was inside the rear panels na never pang nabangga !!! Then he demonstrated to me kasi daw kahit di nakakabit mga sensor wires eh parang ngang parakeet in heat ang tunog ! Eh di ba nga kasi OPEN CIRCUIT yung sensor.. they did not even check the wiring back to the sensor and I realized why kasi they need to unlatch the bumper again. I just blew my top an told them to put everything back properly as they freakin' don't know what they heck they're talking about. Alam mo ba yun ganun feeling ? I am a professional electronics engineer and I design these sensor circuits so I know the controller is not faulty. I would have gottent them to open up the rear bumper and trace the sensor wires and I am sure I will find these broken kaso I have an important appointment na so I was so pissed off and I told them they're full of crap. Then I just made sure naibalik ng tama yung controller, gaskets and rear lamp assmebly na kinalas nila. I will be writing Columbian Motors about this as well as their management too and have the van checked at Kia Pasay that has been servicing my Carnival without a problem until this Global City center near where I live opened.

Advise ko sa lahat sa inyo. Avoid like the plague !!

More on Kia Global City - after you have your Kia serviced there, i-check nyo mga interior panels and dashboards and seat covers - chances are you will find oily finger smudges - they don't even bother to clean-up.. Dati na raw yun ! Asus ! Ako pa ?!!? Eh sobra OC ko sa mga sasakyan ko ?! Some more than 10 years olds pero spic and span pa rin !

Hi po, new to the motoring world po, sorry medyo newbie question.

Does KIA casa service centers only cater to brand new or in warranty vehicles? I own a 1997 sportage and was wondering if I can have it checked sa KIA service centers mismo. I'm coming from mandaluyong, if pwede yung car ko what's the best branch to visit?
