Yeah, may lock out so theres no mistake on making a 1st gear. but i think my small possibility when making a reverse. kala mo reverse yun pala 1st gear.. ouch!

nasubukan ko nang ganito. akala ko talaga reverse na. kailangan mo palang nasa center nga neutral e.pull yung lock bago mo ipasok sa reverse. tapos ibalik mo sa gitna uli bago ka mag.1st gear kundi aatras parin yun

Parang ang weird na ng strategy ng Kia with their products, walang balance. If they had brought in the Rio with updated interiors plus the updated exterior at no price increase, that would have been a compromise to the fact that the Rio still lacks airbags and ABS+EBD for that price range.

the price of toyota vios is 100k+ less the new rio. vios has airbag and abs. that is why lugi ka kung la kang old car for trade in.

*goalie.. u are right..i traded in my 1992 hyundai sonata a/t for the 2010 facelifted Rio. they gave me a staggering 100K value for the old car which i never thought of. hehehe.... but regardless all the safety features and dash look that Rio lacks comparing with vios, i still like the smooth ride of my Rio rather than vios. i drove vios as well. i am about to cross 1K Km and all i can say is the steering wheel is very smooth and the engine is amazingly quite, u hardly feel the transmission shifting. mine is a/t and i live here in baguio and i also never felt lack of power in hilly localities of baguio. and about the look all i can say is "Killer and ***y" hehehe..about the sound system,its very good as well..I dont wanna say that facelifted Rio is the best among the subcompact in RP today but i can say surely it will turn the spectetors eyes at least for the second time (at least i personally can see this). overall i am very happy and satisfied with my rio so far on performance and look...Hope other guys will through feedbacks of their own RIOs...and one more thing my rio is sunset orange.(i gotta love the color) ....Thanks

Buti pa sa Baguio may available units..dito sa Manila may shortage ata..I won't be getting my titanium silver unit until the end of February.

Dito ako kumuha sa Kia Pasay since magaganda yung feedbacks na nabasa ko dito sa tsikot regarding yung dealership na yun. On the way na raw unit ko but they cannot provide an exact date kung kailan makukuha basta within this month daw..same story with Kia Manila Bay.

I agree with you. For me, the new rio looks good than vios. I change my rim to 17". the ride is a little bit hard compared to my previous car but this rio also handles corners at high speed better. Hindi rin bitin sa power, I have all the acceleration I want for city driving when overtaking and sometimes meron pa nakikipaghabolan. About the sound system, I have a little audio setup, I installed two 12" subs, im suppose to change the speakers at the front doors for my mid range. I already have MTX for it but kia speakers also sounds good and clear, so I didnt change it. My first choice of color is the red one but they dont have stocks, the one that arrived here is the silver. Ok naman yung color so yun nalang kinuha ko. D na kasi ako makapaghihintay.

^ Just looking at the alternatives. The Kia might have a better appraisal value for my old car.

Toyota is better IF, you won't have any vehicles to trade in with. But if you have, the Rio is a great choice too look at to also. Knowing Kia naman they appraise vehicles higher than its usual market prices.

Their first appraisal value for my 97 civic lxi is 230k but my father bargain it to 250k, which hinabol naman nila. binigyan din kami ng 5 yr warranty. Yung appraisal value nila ay depende sa kukunin mong sasakyan. Ewan ko kung nagbibiro ba yung sales agent namin, pwede daw nila tanggapin ng 400k and civic kung forte o mohave kunin namin. .

Forte is priced at 1.320m. I think. Maganda siya, mas maganda sa civic at sa altis. Malamang kalaban nito eh mga top-end models ng EX Lancer, Civic FD at Altis ZZ
