Tire pressure is based on preference. Pero to make the thread wear even. Better stay in the 30-40 range. Personally 34/36 pinapakarga ko. 32 is recommended on most cars though. Talagang babagsak fc mo sa 28.

mataas ang fc ng sedan MT ko. davao city ako pero pang manila ang fc ko. Last week pina-GDS ko yung unit ko. normal daw lahat readings so, it is confirmed that malakas talaga sa fc ang gamma engine ng 2012 rio MT sedan. in additionn nagpadala ang winterpine ng specialist dito sa davao to fix my remote. naayos naman. they changed the module at hindi repair lang. scorpion yung unit na ginamit.

Thanks. Sayang yung rio naging gas guzzler dahil sa engine. Pero i heard yung 1.2 kappa matipid naman. Just right for a subcompact. Magrerelease din yata sila ng mga bagong 1.4 na kappa engine. i hope the rumors are true. Saw a white hatch kanina with a nice set of wheels. Ang ganda. But the 2nd thing that came to my mind is kawawa yung mayari sa fc. Oh well. At least its a looker!

Got a Rio Sedan AT last Dec. sobrang fustrated na din ako sa car na eto, everyday from my house to office 15km lng kayang ubusin almost Php 300, that's roughly around 6 litters, on a light traffic, feels like my fuel consumption is around 3-5 km per litter, then last weekend took it for a long drive it going to batangas, from eastwood to nasugbu Batangas (4 adult 1 kid) before it reaches 5000km, gas consumption back and fort damage was around Php 1500 via SLEX/Green field /Tagaytay/Nasugbu, road condition, no traffic to light, worst na nga Gas Consumption but what made it more even worst is hirap na hirap yung car umakyat sa bundok na dinaanan namin sa nasugbu, nasugbu plang yun what more if i'l drive up sa baguio, Verdict ko Crappy Trashy Car totally a waste of my hard earned money, Very very Disapointed with this car,

Just bought an EX 1.4 MT last week and noticed that there is a cut on the matting of the passenger side.. is this normal? because i noticed a sort of serial number inside the cut.. ? i need some input on this if any one knows.. thank you..:D

Sobrang disappointing nga yan. I guess when it comes to subcompacts, vios/city pa rin talaga. Accent gas is plagued with problems as well. Design lang baraha ng koreans.. Hope FC gets better for you though.

Kia Rio EX A/T Sedan (9mos. old) owner here.. I just want to ask if na observe niyo rin ito sa Rio niyo:

1. There is a slight negative camber on the rear wheel, (I also noticed this even nung kakakuha ko plang sa kanya sa showroom) - even their model units has a slight negative camber. Is this normal?
2. I'm using Petron XCS since day 1 and I noticed na umaamoy ung gas either while you're parked or kakapatay mo plang ng makina (you can smell it particularly near the fuel cap area). wala naman siya leak sa floor so i can't consider na may butas ung tank ko.
3. Lately I noticed na from stop, if you step on the gas pedal, may naririnig ako na slight noise coming from the engine bay (more like rattling sound), at nawawala sya once you release the pedal and the engine changed gear already. Is this what you call an engine knock? Hindi kasi ako familiar sa tunog ng engine knock.

i agree it is a looker. i still get second glances and longer stares kahit one year na ang unit ko. konswelo ko na lang na 109 horsepower ang makina kaya matakaw sa gas.

i experience also na nabibitin sa akyatan but not all the time. pwede siguro yan ipa calibrate ang fcu or whatever tawag nila. baka kasi pinahinaan ang sirit para matipid sa fuel.

3rd and 4th gear walang pulling power, mabibilitin ka talaga sa akyatan.

Kaya pinag iisipan ko magpakabit ng power package ng speedlab - intake, hotpipes, and unichip. maybe they can piggyback the ECU para magkaroon ng pulling power sa 3rd gear

but the question is it worth to spend 50K+ for the benefits of installing the package

I like looks of the hatch back and i'm think of getting one. However, the more i read this thread, the more problem i get to know. I want it to be my economy car but it seem's malakas sa FC from the latest post. Is it really worth to buy? Isang option ko is the Hyundai Accent but they don't have gas on hatchback.

I like this car the way it looks, but from the figures you state hindi ko makakuha ng fact for its actual kilometer per liter (kpl).
Full tank to full tank basis is the ideal gauge to measure your kpl.

If only hindi diesel engine, i would have grab this. Ayaw ko na kasi ng diesel, naiingayan ako sa makina & vibration. Pati ang dalas ng PMS kasi every 5K lang.

then probably the Jazz suits you better.. thrifty then 10K or 6 months ang PMS AFAIK

Full tank to full tank basis is the ideal gauge to measure your kpl.

mahirap nga makuha ang real fc ng rio, kase kahit flat na yung gas gauge, it can still run 30-40 km, mukhang malaki capacity ng reserve, hindi naman ako na ubusan ng gas sa daan, tinest ko lang hanggang saan kaya, notice ko din parang may drag yung sasakyan, kailangan mo apakan ng konti ang pedal, kase prang may hinihila ang sasakyan pag Petron & Caltex gamit (both RON95), kahit na sa flat road medyo na eeliminate sya pag Shel Nitro+ (ron97) gamit. tapos pag bagong andar ang sasakyan yung odo meter ko for fuel consumption L/100km kailangan kong ireset ng 3-4 time kase kung hindi, 14-30kl/100 ang reading kahit hindi trafic, so nagiging unreliable sya, computerize na nga dapat automatic adjust sya, pro parang nagiging semi manual, anywys all my observation si for KIA 1.4 A/T variant, i can't attest sa fc/power/performance ng 1.2 / 1.4 manual tranny but prang much better nga sya than sa A/T,

last question wala rin daw warranty ang alarm remote?

kung malaking improvement sa FC/ car's power, dream car na ang Kia Rio, issue lang is with the car's warranty, and Kia won't admit na may problem ang Kia Rio, sana nga pumayag sila to know the real problem and to have the solution sa problems ng kotse.
