Pero in general, maganda talaga ang design ng carens natin..hindi ako nagsasawa sa kakatingin... as what sir yapoy said before, hindi madaling maluma ang design..

Hi guys! share ko lang, went to kia marikina last thursday, pina-check ko suspension ng carens namin. meron kasi tok-tok sound sa ilalim bandang right side. kapag nalulubak, kahit nga pag-approach sa humps naririnig ko lagutok. Ni-raise yung carens pero walang nakita sa ilalim. Nung ibinaba I suggested sa mechanic na baka sumasayad ung coil springs sa body. di naman. then he removed the rubber cap duon sa top ng front suspension. discolored yung nut and maluwag! had it tightened. nawala na yung lagutok.
baka some of you e ganito experience, bolt tightening lang pala.
Hope di na mag-loosen yung nut na yon.

Hi guys! share ko lang, went to kia marikina last thursday, pina-check ko suspension ng carens namin. meron kasi tok-tok sound sa ilalim bandang right side. kapag nalulubak, kahit nga pag-approach sa humps naririnig ko lagutok. Ang lagi ko namang nakakalimutan tuwing magpapa-service ako e ang adjustment ng foot-parking brake, kasi madalas kong malimutan itong i-release at malayo na ang naitatakbo ko lagi bago ko pa mapansin na naka-on pa rin. Kasi naman dapat e automatic na nila itong ina-adjust katulad ng ibang sasakyan.

May ekstrang bayad ba ito sa mga nakapagpa-adjust na?

Talagang super-kintab at maganda. Laki siguro ng maintenance expenses mo ano Ms. Bingski? Pero worth it kasi maganda..Sangayon ako sa EB..

kasi ako pag nakalimutan ko at dahan dahan ko ng nire-release yung clutch e ayaw pa ring umandar tapos tsaka ko maaalala na hindi ko pa pala nare-release...dapat wala po itong additional na bayad

Low batt na carens namin, ayaw umandar after staying the garage for 1 week. 1.5 years life (sep 2008). Are your car batteries still ok? 15800 kilometers pa lang.

it was still ok when we left it, nothing unusual. When checked by the motolite deliveryman last night, voltage was less than 9v . Sabi may na disconnect sa loob ng battery kaya biglang baba ng voltage. Well, damage for the top-of-the-line motolite N70 excel was P6020.

In case you have your batteries replaced, N70 or 3sn yung size because the battery size in their website is the n50 or 2sn, maliit kaya bumalik pa yung deliveryman para pinalitan.

May warranty ang mga batteries natin at "unusual" ang palitan na kaagad yan at 15K kilometers, at 1.5 years lang! Walang nadi-disconnect sa loob ng batteries o kung ano mang "moveable" parts doon. Siguro ilang beses kang nadiskargahan ng husto o naiwan mong naka-on ang mga headlights mo at napundi battery mo. Sa ganitong kundisyon, kailangan mo lang i-deep recharge ang battery mo at i-maintain.

Pero huli na at nakabili ka na kaya sa susunod, kapag nangyari ang nadiskargahan ka ng battery e pa-deep recharge mo o ikaw mismo ang mag-deep recharge. Mura lang naman ang battery charger.

Ang original battery natin e dapat tumagal ng hanggang 5 or more years!!..maski na warranted lang ito ng 3 years.

I did not replace the battery yet since I did not experience any signs of problems anyway. nasa 32 km na pala carens ko.

Advice ko lang po sa inyo na huwag nyo ng antayin pa na any sign if 2-1/2 yrs na ang life ng battery, nangyari na sa akin buti na lang at sa garage ko nangyari in the morning, bigla bigla na lang iyan kaya mas maiigi na palitan if happen kung out of town di problema diba, my carens is Sept '07. at last month ako nagpalit ng battery. mileage 26T km.

Mine is 2 years na din and on 35k km already. Battery is still good except for the aircon. need to go to wheels for check up this coming thursday.

Parte ng periodic maintenance natin ang i-check ng mga technician ang specific gravity ng baterya natin para malaman kung gastado na nga ito o hindi pa. Ang sino mang technician na magsasabing gastado na ang battery ninyo ng di man lang gumagamit ng Hydrometer e mahinang technician. Ang battery ay mag-re-register ng below 12V lagi lalo na kapag madalas na naiiwang bukas ang ilaw o kaya e matagal na hindi nagamit ang sasakyan. Kaya nga kung di rin lang magagamit ang sasakyan ng say, two weeks, makabubuting alisin ninyo ang pagkakakabit ng negative terminal ng battery ninyo. O alisin ninyo pareho ang negative at positive, kasi pag nakakabit ang positive at nasayad ang negative terminal sa body e meron pa ring flow ng kuryente.
