Laki nga ng improvements over the previous model..yung nasa picture malamang imported from Korea ito..
Galing ng timing mo sir Val...naitabi mo pa siya sa parking..hehehe
sir J_avonni : I didn't experience any sudden drop in RPM when I release the accelerator pedal when I am in gear (btw, mine is the MT version). In fact, it seems to stay there and the sudden RPM drop happens whenever I shift to neutral while in motion.

From whatever speed, it would suddenly, as in suddenly, drop to idle rpm (about 1,000). I think think this isn't normal if I compare it to my Innova Gas MT. My Carens is LX AT.

Sir, in my carens, let say im travelling at the speed between 15-30kph (around 1500-2000rpm), then i would let go of the accelerator, the rpm would suddenly drop below 1000rpm, but if im travelling at the speed of 30 above (2k rpm higher but not more than 3k rpm, maybe 2nd gear), the rpm would gradually drop lang.

I've noticed this too, although I don't seem to have an explanation on why it happens. All I know is it doesn't seem to have any problem with the engine or performance of the car altogether. Parang bumababa lang siya sa idle at a certain speed or gear.
I might be too simplistic for me to say it helps save gas. I'm not too technical about it pero it could be an engine management thing...
