guys, there's a special section today in the philippine star of the auto focus people's choice awards announcing that our beloved carens is the "2008 auto of the year".

in the inside pages, "In accepting the award, CAC President (Felix) Mabilog expressed his elation of the popular choice of the Kia Carens as the 2008 Automobile of the Year, even as he thanked the motoring public who participated in thE online and onsite polls but most specially the Kia fans and Kia owners for their unwavering support and loyalty to the Kia brand."

i hope somebody from CAC is monitoring these boards. they really should keep their ears closer to the ground and what better way through these boards.

Yes sir, correct yan. I Dropped by sa Kia davao last week and amazed to see na ganun na ang price. I have previous issues of topgear showing yung dating price ng carens na 800K + pa..

Sayang eh, convinced na sana ang mga partners ko (they read this thread ) pero yung price increase naman ang concern. Maybe they'll decrease the price next year!

ang curious kasi ako, we got ours at 1,050,000. pero i've been hearing tumaas na 170k siya since. kaya hindi ko alam kung ano totoo ngayon.
