I personally have no problem if the car had an engine transplant as long as it was done correctly with a good engine and has proper documentation.

Yes mayroon, I own a 1997 4JG2 LS manual 4x4 unit since new. It was the first year that the TD came out together with the V6 but with auto trans. It has no fender flares but with a hood scoop for the intercooler, whereas the gasoline version has none. I believe it came out only up to early 1999, after which, the automatic versions came out for the diesel variants
try ako pasay di kolang nasuyod lahat wala sila
baka my marecomend kayo o my number kayo ng store
TIA
Sa dealer talaga dapat pinapaservice ang trooper most mechanics aren't familiar with 4jx1-tc under its hood unlike isuzu's 4ja1 and 4jb1 engines
I know someone who also owned a trooper they spent 300k sa overhaul ng trooper cause they had the car service outside the dealer which is a big no no witht the trooper you should also religiously follow the pms interval of 5k kms change oil and 10k kms for air and oil filter in short maselan talaga ang trooper produced from 1999-2006

Before nung hawak pa niya, halos wala talaga sira. Kung may masira man, alam agad and alam mo yung feeling na pagnakita na niya, saglit lang gawa na agad. And kung may remedyo pa, inaayos lang talaga and alam niya kung makakasama o hindi. Na-spoiled ata yung trooper kaya nagtampo. Haha.
Any one here used Bilstein shock absorbers for their UBS69 troopers? Was it a better ride than OEM? Can I have the part number of the front and rear shocks and where did you buy them?
sirs buhayin ko lang tong thread. Just today the speedometer of my trooper (4jx1) stopped working. San po location ng speed sensor ng trooper (with picture sana) ? and any idea on how much it is?
May I ask what model is your trooper? I am planning to buy a second hand unit na trooper and I had an initial talk with the owner. It's a 2002 Model, local and with a 3.0cc 4jx1 engine. Is the fuel injectors really that bad for this particular model? I saw a thread regarding this matter and it kinda makes me consider my decision to buy such model.
We had one from 2003-2011. Engine performance is very good. Ride comfort is good for a ladder frame SUV, though handling is rather poor. Beige interior is a pain to keep clean and some plastic bits are rather brittle like the map light switches. It was a great car for its time. Unfortunately, the 4JX1 was a bit too ahead of its time and so design had many flaws. Once injector problems kick in, it becomes a potential bottomless money pit. Its actually more of "swerte swerte". Some have hardly any problems and really enjoyed the car. Others curse it to the high heavens. Avoid if you aren't the type who likes to tinker and/or it is going to be your only vehicle.
If you really want a Trooper, I'd suggest you look for a 3.1L 4JG2 unit. Less powerful, less sophisticated, probably less fuel efficient but proven and extremely reliable. Same goes for the 4M40 Pajero and the 1KZ 90 series Prado.

Yung left turning light is hindi gumagana as well as the break lights, ok nman yung bulb since umiilaw ciyah kapag nakahazard? and if rewiring po, how much yung estimated na gagastusin.
Anyone here replaced their feed pump sa trooper 4JG2? How much did it cost you and where did you buy it?
Anyone suggest a good quality rear shocks for the trooper and possibly its price as well
