Baka nga ser o nahihiya sa dami ng pinagawa. Yung troop na yun ang mamanehuhuin ko pag nagwork nako sa pangasinan.. kaya napabasa ako dito. May hate thread pa sa trooper! Baka dumating din sa point na isa nako dun, wag naman sana.

replaced last year ng RPS and RPCV.

then tinry palitan pero ok naman.

O ring sa pump and baradong strainer (?) lang daw.

sabi before baka daw yung high pressure pump na 60k ang price.

Thanks sir SQ, try to look at the fuel angle also. Kase isa yan sa mga narinig ko sa casa noon regarding dirty fuel. Strainer na barado. Para at least mapinpoint mo kung san talaga nagsimula yung prob.

Sir sleepy madalas ako sa dagupan kase andun folks ko. Ano plate number ng troop ng uncle mo? baka yan yung madalas kong makita na nakapark sa hotel near Isuzu Inteco Dagupan tawag ko dun sa unit na yun eh "sticker happy" censha na sir ha, napagkatuwaan ko lang yung name

gandang araw ng bro/sirs,
bago lng po ko dito & i also like to share my experience sa trooper ko & hoping i could also find ways and help sa present problem ko...
my bighorn is a 96 imported (subic) 4JG2 engine which we have been using since 2003..No much problem...regular maintenace lng..i could run up to 160kph...i been to nueva icija & baguio several times...Im from Tagaytay po pala... We went to tarlac 3 weeks ago...unluckily on our way back home, one waterhose side of the block below the turbo got busted...
so without knowing im running without water...obviously overheat...
i towed my trooper back home....
according to our mechanic he can repair the engine eventhough it is his first for this type of engine....
He changed the cylinderhead gasket, timing belt, water pump,.....
Today, i been using my trooper for 2 weeks already....
the preblem now is..there is s white smoke coming from the exhaust when u start the engine for few seconds...after which it will run normally...another thing during our first start there is a hissing sound which i guess is coming form the turbo and until now it is still there...my mechanic tried to check the hoses but just the same the sound is still there.....
I am worried that the cylinderhead gasket was not properly installed nor the turbo....
hope someone could advice or help me...i know CASA is expensive & im not sure wether isuzu imus would accept me...one thing di ko pa po kaya mag casa....meron po ba me alam kung ano filler gauge sa adjustment ng Valves for the 4JG2 engine?

Bro yung trooper mo ba namamatay pag nirev mo ng mataas tapos sabay bitaw sa gas pedal? and yung oil pressure mo asa 1/4 dun sa gauge tas mababa ang idle? try mo lang to, wala naman mawawala. Ganyan din kase naexperience ko before, di rin nasolve ng mga tiga casa. Ask them to drain all of the fuel sa troop mo then bili ka lang maski 3 liters of diesel fuel sa Petron (dapat binabayaran ako ng petron dito eh, libre advertising to ). Dapat yung bago or malaki na gas station para sigurado malinis yung fuel. Try mo na yun ang gamitin and see if namamatay pa rin ang engine mo.

.045mm hot cold exhaust and intake. Baka gasket leak ng exhaust manifold try to tighten it.
Pag break-in malakas pa blow by. Pwede rin may oil pa yung muffler from before the overhaul.

sir, have them checked the sensors ng injectors. baka meron sira yun... we have replaced 2 sensors ng sa injectors ng trooper namin... just forgot waht it was

is it the RPCV and RPS? i had it replaced last year and theyve tried to replace it din with a new one pero ganun parin.

now theyre suspecting a 50k worth high pressure pump.

do you experienced the same problem too?

I want to restore our old trooper back to good condition. its a 97 3.1 diesel m/t model.

can anyone point me to the right direction on what i need to check/replace?

oil
oil filter
fuel filter
coolant
tranny fluid
brake fluid
p/s fluid

anything else? btw what we always do is just to blow the air filter with compressed air every now and then.

ganon ba talaga yung old diesel trooper? makalog at maingay?

tanong ko lang kung may alam kayo na trusted na mekanico para sa trooper pa check ko sana makina ko at Shift on the Fly System kc lagi naka ilaw sa dashboard na naka 4wd sya kahit hindi naman naka kambyo sa 4wd, dati naman hindi sya ganun "off" kaagad yung ilaw pag binalik yung kambyu sa 4wd to neutral ng isuzu Bighorn 4JG2T (3door) subic.

pa check mo na sa casa yan or check the fuse box first.

(gamitin mo rin naman daw kasi trooper mo!!!)
