Madalas lumuluwang yun, which tends na ma mis align yung power widow. Ako ginawa ko nilagyan ko lahat locktite or "cutiks" para hinsi magluwangan mga turnilyo due to excessive vibration...
Or check mo alignment baka mali

    Hello everyone.

I have a 2010 Dmax and I feel na its about time to upgrade the tires and rims.
Just asking for opinions/suggestions regarding tire size to get an off-road look without too much ride compromise.
    Thanks much.

    Hi Good PM Dmax owners!

2004 isuzu dmax LS 4x2 owner here.

change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, brake pads, new tires, fan belt.

    maraming salamat!

Just in case some of you folks are looking for heavy duty oil filters for your rides, i have the perfect filter for your DMAX.

Fleetguard LF689 - Filtering efficiency of 98% * 30 microns, full flow filter. Better then oem or VIC filters which is only at 87% * 30 microns.

    only at 300 each

    Contact me if interested.
    0922-85-22-936

Baldwin, Wix, PartsMaster, Luber Finer also available.

Wow a dmax timing gear relplaced at 80tkms! Somethings wrong. A timing belt should last longer...

YUP, and it's the first time we heard it from a D-max unit hehe

We are basically an Isuzu brand-infested family haha, and none of this or whatsoever have occurred from our Isuzu's from old Fuego's to Crosswinds to two D-max to 10 wheeler trucks of different generations that have seen more mileage than any cars we've owned.

There must be something wrong with the Isuzu assembly line's QA/QC, though i'm not really privy about what's happening inside the plant, just a guess. Or, from time to time there are lemons so they say.

Nonetheless, not too worried about the D-max into the future as my eyes are laid on the Volkswagen Amarok 2.0 TDi bi-turbo when it arrives. I know that the all-new D-max performs better than the Amarok offroad-wise and fuel efficiency-wise as proven in Australian grounds by body of offroad junkies, but still i want a change and it should be a Folksvagen hehe....

    Cheers!

Yes sir, something is really, really wrong. I even thought it would last longer than a timing belt. I have no idea why they have to replace it this early.

I called today and followed up, they said there is only one part left to be delivered. I asked if there is any chance for it to suddenly snap. They said that the chances of it snapping like a timing belt is very unlikely since it is gear to gear. But the problem is there is that whining and buzzing sound. So if there is any consolation, I am not worried even if I still keep on using it.

But their previous advise lingered on me to not use it outside the city coz chances of some parts breaking are higher due to higher speeds. Sounds pretty ironic to me now since I can use it within city limits but only God knows when those parts will arrive and the chances of it snapping is not that possible BUT I can't bring it far coz the chances of parts breaking is highly likely due to high speeds.

I don't know. But I love my Dmax. No other problems other than that whining and buzzing sound.

4jh1 dmax was last produced 2006 before they shifted to the crdi version. Mine was a 2005. Great pull at low rpms!

Yes mga sirs, kung tutuusin as you described both, "off-the-bottom pull" parang mas malakas pa nga si non-commonrail 4JH1-TC kaysa sa current Philippine D-max 4JJ1-TC standard. Comes in hard actually by seat-of-pants at malumanay ng kaunti si 4JJ1-TC.

Tahimik na ang 4JJ1-TC ngaun comparing them both.

    Cheers!
