is anyone planning to install a "utility bar?" like the one present in the older hiluxes. its made of steel. its the on the front edge of the cargo bed, to protect the rear glass and the roof when you load stuff over the bed and leaning.

saw one at SLEX it was neatly done, it was made taller than the roof so as not to obstruct the 3rd brake light. it looks really useful and a good (cheaper) alternative to a roll bar i think.

Ako I plan to copy the bed cover ng Explorer Sportrac...para sa DMax...bentahan ko kayo pagmaganda at napamura ko lang ang cost...ang plan ko dapat below P2000 lang ang abutin

Naisip ko rin yung utility bar kaso ang gusto ko tangalable kasi hindi naman parati na meron akong kakargahin na malaki.

DMAX LS comes CBU from Thailand - sa CBU gulong lang ang kulang. Ang pagkakaalam ko the LX is partially local assembled kaya yung airbag ang ABS brakes wala.

looks interesting. basta pa-post ng pictures saka dapat mura din ang bigay mo sa amin, saka sana no drilling ha. ayaw ko kasi ng nagbubutas sa body panels.

My plan is really No drilling dapat sa metal body panels...pero baka merun drilling dun sa plastic bed to hold the lock mechanism...

city: 9.5km/l speeds upto 80kph
highway: 12km/l speeds upto 120kph, northbound nlex

using biodiesel but it seems to have no effect on fuel economy and smoke emissions (smoke during initial startup and when "birit" acceleration). but it was clean enough to begin with, just did not get cleaner.

Isuzu Alabang ko pala nakuha LS ko, sa excitement ko nailagay ko Toyota hehehe. Anyway, I think Alabang has a few units left. Seems that Globe ordered 70+ units before but decided to get only 50 hence the surplus (they are both Ayala-owned), kaya lang puro white ang available. Daming wala sa LX - walang molding, walang keyless entry tsaka anti-theft, R15 ang gulong instead of R16. These plus airbag and ABS are definitely worth more than the 50K na difference in price.

At Isuzu Alabang last year when we got our unit, there were surplus 2004 LS models and were selling for less than 20k than the 2005 LS which as at 960k. yun stock stereo and dash panels lang ang difference.

its an easy upgrade. pede DIY. The grill is just 'clipped' on. I've been able to change mine, though the painting was done by a pro(car/auto body paint shop)
