hello mga ka-DMAX... after soul searching and reading of forums in tsikot i have finally found my soul to DMAX with i am now gathering all my resources and asset in aquiring one. the target date would be Q2 of 2008. With am appealing with guys to help me decide on which is which LS, LX, LT. my current consideration is LT cause am thinking of the long term effect in terms of maintenance since durability equates them all. Could you share something if i am on the good choice for the DMAX LT

hello fellow dmax owners, my dmax '04 LS model's tire is already thin and i plan on replacing it with a new one... now i am planning to increase the tire's size. my question is, what is the largest size possible (thickness and width) that would fit my original rim that is 16" which would not hit any part of the car's chassis when the wheel is turned at maximum steer and while rolling? a friend of mine told me that he put a mastercraft brand which has a size of 265/75/r16 and it did well... do you think that that brand is good and adequate? any other brand you can recommend? please do note that i have no plan of replacing my original rim and i still intend to use it, i just want to know what is the best maximum sized tire that would fit it nicely. does equipping a larger tire affect diesel consumtion or the car's ride and speed or is it safe? any inputs and suggestions would be highly appreciated... thanks in advance.

Sir Memphis... what i mean is that in terms of maintenance cost LT is more cheaper than that of LS and LX. I am affraid of the electronics failure for the later models. we know that what pick ups are for yet electronics are vulnerable interms of failures and we don't know when it will fail. hope you could enlighten me with this because I read some threads regarding their experience with electronic failures in their DMAX.

maybe it is a failure or what but help me lessen or removed my doubt about electronics on cars. some threads on page 177 (jeff hadoken and r3mu506)

you can fit 265/70R16 tires on the D-max. I suggest you try BFG all terrain ko, or their Macadams.

huh? sir topper, i just got one LS last week, ganda!

didnt know this...but anyway, i got mine from gencars pasong tamo. look for jessie very accomodating. gave me a lot of freebies. am still waiting for the registration though....

sir memphis, wala pa daw 08 model, yun lang mga papers nya 08. anyway, pasali po sa forum nyo ho?

sub lang benta ko eh. Kasi ififiberglass enclosure ko na yun new sub ko sa ilalim ng dash kaya no use na yun luma ko. Im using steg qmos to drive my sub.

Ok, I see your point. We will dig into this rare electronics issue, I myself can't give any experience points here since mine is an '06 LS and so far wala pa akong sira, as in zero

so I guess you can say that mine is battle tested na.

I think si sir t-maxx can give you some feed back on his all-new D-max variant. Sige research tayo about this.
