I can't afford to buy a brand new dmax. Instead I bought a used 4 wheel drive Dmax model 2005. I bought it as is where is. Came to know later that the under chassis on the right side was damaged due to car accident. I like the performance of the Isuzu Dmax. But due to this defect on the under chassis the wheel balance can not be corrected by the computerized equipment. Is it possible to replace the whole underchassis. Where can I procure this item?

sir, i dont think meron mabibili na surplus na chassis ng d-max... kaya pala binenta ng owner the dmax... hehehehe...

sir, suggestion lang... dalhin mo sa casa ng isuzu and tell them tell your story baka meron sila magawa about ur prob... maybe repair or replace some parts, etc.. kung sira man chassis.. it wouldnt really afffect the wheel alignemnt... baka sira yun suspension or hinid maayos pagkarepair.

That can be fixed according to some of my buddies but I feel it won't be that cheap. A more expensive alternative is to change the chassis. But as jarhead already mentioned, no surplus chassis of D-Max can be bought. You'd have to BUY a BRAND NEW chassis thru the dealer.

I am uncertain of the cost but that is also expensive as fixing it --- even more + labor of replacing the current chassis with the new one. Plus, since the D-Max is CBU-Thailand, chassis would come from Thailand. So you have to factor in downtime in ordering and transporting the chassis here. Upon arrival, Isuzu Philippines would have to stamp the same chassis # as with the one currently installed on your pick-up.

I'm sorry to hear about your case. The previous owner new what he was doing. He knew that the cost of replacing / repairing the damaged chassis would cost him an arm and a leg so he opted to sell it cheap.

guys, just put on new shoes on mour d-max.. hehehe.. 18" rims with 275/60 dunlop tires... heheheeh.... galing lang eto sa other car namin and made some adjsutments para magfit ang tire... mejo too big for the d-max na 05 ang 275/60 na tires btu looks very good... hahahahaha.... macho2x ang dating

I'd take the unit to a well known body repair shop to have the chassis straightened or sell the unit for how much you got it. Getting a brand new chassis and transferring the old body will cost too much, and your car still won't be the same.

I like this latest iteration of the DMax better. Came from a site in Malaysia.

Nope. Not the 2005 and 2006 models. 2007~can be.




... mainly due to the headlight design, the grille and front bumper had to be changed.

Guys tanong ko lang kung how much aabutin ng 15kms PMS....kc last year more than 2k lang tapos nagtanong ako sa casa today eh more than 5,4k daw? Magkano ba talaga? Thasnks in advance!

stomach: mahal po ang filter ng baging dmax around 1,000 ata den 8 liters of oil... kung pure change oil lang nasa 2,000 nga.. but kung PMS higit pa sa 2,000.. tama nga yun.. around 4,000 siguro.. meron pa but kasama na labor ata sa 4,000

Can't decide if the body paint or the rims is more shiny. Saan ka based pre? Napaka car friendly siguro ng lugar nyo. Yung unit ko sobrang daming gasgas na.

hehehe.. tnx Wh1stl3r... dito lang me sa visayas area... meorn yan bunot voisible lang sa pic.. the dmax isnot really used that much... but meron narin yan gasgas and some dents... grr... .. hehehehe.... kabwisit kc kung nakaprk ka sa mall r public prking... pagbalik mo meron na dings and dents... sometimes gasgas din... sana madulas sila... hahahahaha..... i always detail my pick up and touch up din mga dents or scratched...

Bro, if inclusive of the parts and labor --- it should be around P4k. Tama lang quote sa iyo... unless labor lang yan at di pa kasama parts, MAHAL YAN!

Medyo anal ka din pala sa mga gasgas tulad ko. Here's a tip I picked up from another guy na galit sa gasgas. Park in between the 2 nicest cars you can find in the carpark. They would most likely be careful about dinging the car next to them. Matatagalan ka nga lang magpark kung pareho mo akong namimili ng katabi. Haha.

Bro, malalalim ba gasgas or mababaw lang but madami? Kasi if it's the latter, a good detailing job may just do the trick. I know of a good detailer who some guys from the club tried and was satisfied.... both the workmanship and the labor charge.

Now if malalalim yung gasgas, gasgasan mo ng paikot yung buong oto. Then make an affidavit or a police report claiming that your car was VANDALIZE when parked at ______. You should be able to get a whole car paintjob for it.

Oo nga no. Baka di ko nga lang kaya gawin yun, tumatayo kasi balahibo ko pag may nakikita akong nagagasgas. Medyo malalim mga gasgas, down to the metal yung iba. Napa repaint ko na yung 3 panel at yung hood kaya medyo iwas gastos na. But I will consider your suggestion hehe

Isa pang sakit sa ulo yung mga sabit ng motor sa brakelights.
