Ok lang naman if there's no spray-on protective liner underneath provided that you don't see any rust build up.

I'm not also sure of the max load capacity but I think that the '04 release had a 7 piece leaf pack compared to the '06 that only had 5 which makes the '04 bear heavier loads.

ang max load na kinarga ko sa dmax ko ay 500kg. kaya pa siguro hangang 750 ng hindi titingala. 500kg lang ang nakarga ko kasi lalagpas na sa gilid yun dala ko (rawmat sa paggawa ng feeds 25kg/bag x 20 bags).

yung frontier ko dati (na merun camper) nakargahan ko ng 750kg pero medyo nakatingala na. nagawa ko yun kasi kahit na lagpas na sa gilid ng body hindi malalaglag ang dala ko dahil sa camper... the way i figure, kaya din yun ng dmax if it had a camper.

i have doubt that the suspension can do more than 750kg .... baka nakatingala ng ang pickup and it would not be safe to drive (dahil wala ng control sa daan).

hindi ko namonitor ang consumption ko... when it was loaded... but ang acceleration hirap akong umobertake (obviously) but it can still manage....unlike the frontier (but it was loaded with 750kg).

on my recent trip to ilocos, i brought home nearly 700kgs of palay. plus other stuff and 4 passengers. the engine can still haul it easily overtaking from 80-90kph of cruising speed.

yes the front is slightly raised from the weight of the cargo bed and tires are "deformed" ba. it just brakes late.

Just a few quesitions as sadly I cannot backread much haha.

1. Can I raise the boost a bit with a boost controller?

2. I saw somenoe mention that you cant put a bov on the Dmax? true? I'd love one though.

3. to the guy with the 3' exhaust, Sir, where were you able to buy your exhaust? I need more power hahaha.

Lastly, i'm not so well educated on the Dmax my friend is selling power chips for Crdi engines and I'm guessing this wont fit into the dmax I had? thanks.

1. kaya ba magload ang d-max ng atleast 1-2 tons of cargo? ilan ba maximum--1, 1.5 or 2?

2.fuel consumption: particularly 4x2 LS mt... ilan? city highway, noload at full load.

3.is it fair na ba: 04 ls dmax 4x2 MT makinis green, may bed liner, 37,xxx kms, for a dealer price of 720Thou... or hanap ako ng direct seller nalang...

2. 10-12 combined city-highway dito s bulacan, i have clients who report as high as 14km/l pero, nueva ecija sila, so mostly highway. no idea pag loaded.

3. direct seller is always lower.

Btw, is that the same chip as the one Dolf is selling? he said his was like 30+ 40 nga ata I think. 30% power gain.

I have an auto dmax kasi so I may as well since the boost is constant

Bogan,, pwede ka maglagay ng boost controller in cabin igoogle mo ang EngTek, pati performance chip meron sila, Blow-off valve useless sa diesel yan.

Brake pads am using Bendix code no. DB1468, price 1K+ maganda ang kapit.

bogan, kung may plano kang magprformance chip di na siguro kailangan ng boost controller,, sa akin lang tama na ang power increase ng tunit ...
mag cold air intake at free flow muffler with 2.5"diameter exhaust pipe ka na lang pangmatch sa tunit. satisfied ka na sa speed ng dmax mo sa ganung mods..

parang ala pa ata ditong nag drop-in K&N filter,,pero sa pagkakaalam ko ang type ng drop-in filter sa dmax is K&N E-2023...

thanks srgoboy. will try to ask din yung mga shops. kasi ang dinig ko dati, pwede raw yata yung pang Trooper / Crosswind. saka try ko din dala ng sample, kung di man E-2023 makuha kong model, oks lang basta pasok sa filter box ko.
