Pogi nga ang All New Frontier!

I'm gonna accompany my brother-in-law sa Nissan dealer when the test unit arrives for driving. Alam nyo naman basta pick-up, it will boil down to the ride factor to make coexisting with it a success .

The prices are good if you ask me plus you also get the much admired Nissan Aircon. A much much better package than a Strada.

yung sa akin never had that problem sa brake light... baka loose ang wirings/socket mismo...or the bulb are not the better brands...i try to use japan, german or us brands sa mga bulbs.

*wildthing, ganun? nakapag-palit na ako pero by accident- some rider decide to test whether or not -he'll survive without falling to the pavement- in short nakipag gitgitan sa akin. torn the sidewall of my bridgestone. pero malapit nang mapudpod- mga 40% na lang. anyways, bought a pair then put it in front. for the rear, it is still the original tires.

anyways, may nakapagpalit na ba sa inyo ng wheel bearings? last month nagpalit na kami kasi umugong na. the thing is, dinala namin sa casa (gencars makati) for PMS which includes wheel bearing repacking- got ripped off by charging us synthetic grease for a mineral based one, nasira yung weather seal thanks sa bara-barang mekaniko ng gencars. it happened when the rig reached its 65K Kms.

pre, the 40t kms is just the same sa 20t kms.. general PMS yan. it means lahat ng fluid papalitan- engine, trans, diff, brake, clutch, power steering... lahat ng filter papalitan- air, oil and fuel... drain the sedimentor( very important)..... tune-up... repack the bearing sa front, clean the brakes..... kung pwede alignment narin kung 40t na... and drain the radiator pala and dapat 2 liters of coolant ilagay.. pwede rin coolant lahat ilagay... mag 8k+ ata aabutin nyan a casa.....

To the early model Dmax owners here (2004-05?): Are your gas tanks metal/steel? Or are all our gas tanks made of plastic? My '06 kasi is made out of plastic, just wondering if this has any effect when we fill up full tank .

Basta general PMS pinag-iipunan talaga yan because of the above mentioned list of servicing to be done.

I usually think of it as "reseting" the parts which equates to better, more reliable performance. This is where the true core of a car really matters in the long run, especially in an Isuzu Dmax's engine...pangmatagalan. Isipin nyo naman there was a time early this year that we would camp out near a lake then when sleeping time na, we would sleep in the Dmax, aircon and sounds on until the next morning: no problem .

standard ang plastic na tank sa dmax pre... no effect naman when filling up the tank.... but th eprob lang is dat its very hard to drain it kung mapasokan ng foreign object.. u have to pull out the tank tlaga and hirap gawin kc meron pa laman ang tank...

yup tama ka nga pre.... dats trhe most important service ng mag rides natin.... if u want tatagal talaga ang ridez nyo .. do the general maintenance every 20t kms... dats only the time laso makita lahat ng sira or worn out parts ng rides natin... mga bushinngs, bearings, etc....

ginawa mo yan pre? sino chicks kasama mo nun?? hehehehehe...

Hahahaha! As I always say sa wifey, it's better na chicks ang kasama ko kesa naman lalake :hysterical:

Kidding aside, was with my cousins from the states when we slept sa Lake Balanan dito sa province. That time kasi wala pa yung Inn na dapat for the tourists eh gusto talaga nilang mag-overnight so when they couldn't sleep sa pick-up bed dahil sa sobrang lamok, lipat kami 3 sa loob.

I think sa mga ganyan na situation all you have to make sure of is the coolant level.
