Ang stock shocks ng crosswind ay fluid type lahat.. Pero nung pinapalitan ko yung apat na shocks ng crosswind ni biyenan ko ganyan din setup na ginawa ko, fluid sa front at gas sa likod. Reason, lagi sila madami pag bumiahe. Ang fluid type kasi less bouncy cya kaya ok lang sa harapan dahil almost fixed naman ang load doon (engine, primarily), pero ang gas mas maganda ang play niya pag loaded kaya yun ang nilagay ko sa likod.

Sa XTO ko naman stock lang na fluid lahat kasi kadalasan kami lang ni misis ang sakay kaya ok lang. Ang problema kasi sa gas type pag walang load yung sasakyan ang tagtag.

Kumusta naman performance? kami kasi madalas namin byahe yung crosswind papunta manila na puno.. though nabili ko fluid for front and gas sa likod.. yung sa likod pa lang nakabit and ok yung takbo.. though pagmabilis sa kurbada meron pa rin roll probably dahil yung front di pa napalitan ng bago. gusto papalitan nung mek namin ng gas ung front.

Ok naman performance nya lalo na pag loaded, yun nga lang pag mag isa ka lang s biahe mas matagtag ang gas kesa fluid type na shocks.. Sa roll issues naman sa kurbada talagang issue na sa xuv yan maybe due to its height.. Pansin ko nga pag magka-convoy kami ng bayaw ko naiiwan yung xuv nila sa xto ko pagdating na sa kurbada..

Guys, tanong lang sa aircon niyo. Naaamoy niyo rin ba yung usok ng sasakyan na kasunod niyo sa loob? Is this normal? Yung sa akin kasi parang pumapasok sa loob yung usok lalo na kung smoke belching jeepneys and buses ang kasunod. Napacheck ko na to last year sa specialist pero sealed pa naman daw nang maayos ang mga AC components at walang leaks. Any ideas?

Hi sa mga crosswind owners, sino pa nakapagpalit na ng shackle bushing. napansin ko pa na pag ginagalaw ko po yung rear or side ng XTO ko

may eek eek na sound, tinanong ko sa kakilala kong mekaniko sabi niya yung sa shackle yung busing daw worn out na.

saan po puede magpapalit? yung hindi mahal maningil. and magkano mo yung bushings ng leafspring shackles? kailangan bang palitan lahat both

sides ng leafspring. sinilip ko yung leafspring ko parang yung sa dulo lang iba yung itsura nung bushing parang hindi na buo.

Hello, ask ko lang po kung ano maissuggest nyo na brand ng suspension/shock absorber for crosswind at kung san makakabili ng mura (specific shop probably in banawe would help) .. . Matagal na kasi crosswind namin yung XUV na yellow.. ngayon kasi ramdam na un pagbounce at malabot na talaga suspension..

Sa LVC near orthopedic...1100 ang KYB gas-adjust. Sa New JIL naman na katabi ng Walco..600 ang KYB premium(fluid)

Parang common problem na ito dito sa thread. Based din sa experience, I would suspect it's the fuel filter. Let's always include the fuel filter in the list when doing regular maintenance, para sure.

Don't forget po yung sedimentor...baka po kasi marami rami ng tubig pero di pa sya nailaw sa dash!

Bro join ka sa Team Isuzu Pilipinas Facebook, me crosswind club dun. they can help you a lot on the cheaper route.. pa check ng Nozzle tips baka mali ang preassure nya. you can either go to central diesel in quezon ave. or there's one in Kamuning called Kingston calibration highly recommended ng Isuzu boys yun... If you want it tuned theres a guy they recommend too called "badong" he can tune your x-wind a heck of a lot cheaper than Berime (sorry Nelany peace! hehehe)

Quick fix lang, change your fuel filter boss ... me available na fleetguard brand para dyan

BTW guys, balak ko sana mag-upgrade ng sidemirrors na power-folding. Medyo sira-sira narin kasi yung akin. Loose na masyado yung sa right at hindi na nagana yung sa left kapag inaayos ang angle. Malamang putol na ang mga ngipin sa loob. Balak ko sana i-convert nalang sa mas modelong sidemirrors na power folding para isang pindot lang, tupi na. Medyo masikip kasi parking sa office kaya araw-araw ko pa tinutupi.

Posible ba yun na i-convert? At may alam ba kayong mura lang binebenta? Nag search ako sa sulit, meron brand new 13k.

Salamat at may nakita din ako na Isuzu Crosswind forum. Mga sirs, I have a 2002-03 Crossind XUV manual tranny. Itanong ko kung advisable ipa-casa to check the car. Wala naman ako napapansin na kakaiba. Just service maintenance kasi lagpas na ng 100,000 km. (108,000+.)

Ano pati maganda gamitin na pang oil-change? Sabi sa akin ni CASA mineral daw dapat. Kasi masyadong malabnaw kung fully synthetic, baka pumasok sa mga spaces etc.

Ano pati puedeng gamitin na pang dagdag sa power steering fluid? Nakalagay kasi sa cap dexron. May nakita ako sa ACE hardware, prestone power steering fluid, puede na kaya ito kahit hindi dexron?

At kung kailangan ng palitan ang gear oil since hindi pa ito napapalkitan simula ng bilhin nuong 2003 (first owned.)

if mineral oil ang gagamitin...I suggest you use 1. Idemitsu Extreme Touring 15W-40 Extreme Touring DH-1. TBN Value is 12.4.
2. Delo 400 15W-40...TBN value is 12.2
3. Mobil 1 Delvac MX 15W-40...TBN value is 12.0...
Btw TBN(totalo base number) determines how effective the control of acids formed will be during the combustion process. The higher the TBN, the more effective it is in suspending wear-causing contaminants and reducing the corrosive effects of acids over an extended period of time.
Yung kinematic velocity ng idemitsu during cold start (40°C) is the lowest which means it will go up faster sa engine parts from the oil pan.

Regarding the use of synthetic oils , ok sya sa crosswind po natin that is if you have extra money. Pricey ang mga fully synthetic.
Also yung sabi ng casa na makakalusot sya sa mga engineered clearances ng mga rings or ng mga seals is a myth now especially sa ganda ng mga formulation nila ngayun.
The caveat is that your engine must be in good working order and not be leaking right now. If that's the case, most modern oils are fully compatible with the elastomeric materials that engine seals are made from, and you shouldn't have any issues with leaks.

Guys new owner ng sportivo x at dito. any advice kng anong magandang diesel gamitin? nabasa ko kse na unioil at seaoil euro 4 na yta? anyone tried this and any changes sa takbo o sound ng engine? TIA

as per experience....magaspang po ang euro 4 diesels on vehicles fitted with an injection like the crosswind. Euro 4 diesels only have 50 PPM of sulfur as compared to the Euro 2 of the big 3 which contains 500 PPM of sulfur. Sulfur gives additional lubricity which injection pumps need, Though on paper, euro 4 will have lesser emissions but yun nga it will be very abrasive sa injection pump which can damage sa rotor heads or drive shafts etc.
If you really want to use Euro 4 I suggest you add 2T...it will augment the lubricity of the diesel despite it having only 50PPM sulfur.
I've been using 2T for 100,000 kms now and so far at 250,000kms ng crosswind virgin pa ang injection pump....seals all intact and the fuel regulating screw di pa inaadjust. :-)
Euro 4 diesels are best suited sa mga hig pressured CRDIs as they require Ultra Low Sulfur Diesels(ULSD).

Totoo po ba ito? (Diesel Smoke tells YOU a Story…

I have a 2002 XUV. Runs good, pero may almost colored blue smoke pag cold start o bagong paandarin sa umaga. Maraming salamat.

Yep mejo totoo po sya hehe. Blue smoke is a sign of oil being burned. Pwedeng valve seals(sana nga yun lang) or piston rings(maluwang na ang clearance)...nakakalusot na sya pataas sa combustion chamber kaya result is unburnt oil.

I mean yung side mirror kasi nung crosswind namin parang natanggal yung pin sa loob. kaya di na sya steady, kusang nagreretract na lang.. kaya ginawa namin tinalian namin ng rubber para di magretract lalo na pag mabilis na takbo.. mahal din kasi kung bibili ng bagong side mirror.. baka po me contact kayo..

Sa banawe meron nag aayus nyan.
Yung akin triny ko ayusin ayun nabasag ko yung gilid ng salamin pero naayus naman though mejo maluwang pa rin ng konti. May lock yan na parang tansan sa ibabaw....binutasan ko yun tas sinaksakan ng pin...ayun di na sya pumapaypay. Kaso basag sa gilid.

Meron ako kilala na magagaling kaso sa Calumpit, malulupit...kahit basag na lente ng ilaw kaya idikit ulit na hindi halata.
Sa banawe kase maraming luku dun although may marurunong din dun pero marami din mapagpanggap.

Ibig sabihin ba nito na posibleng nawala uli sa alignment ang wheels ko? Pero baka nga pa-align ko nalang uli pag nagtuloy tuloy..

pwedeng gastado yung upper suspension bushing kaya pag pumreno lumiliko. Aabnte kasi yung swing arm if loose or may alog ang upper suspension bushings. Just like yung sa friend ko. Nakita nila sa Wheelers suspension Haus na yun ang culprit.
Another probable cause would be the caliper kit...piston getting stuck pag pumepreno. Hindi agad bumabalik.
