Ang alam ko sir ang engine braking sa transmission is pag tumatakbo na tapo massense niya na pababa ang daan, not to be confused with Hill Descent Control which the mu-X lacks.
Yun nga sir ang na observe kung isa kailangan pala e manual mode ko sya para stick sya sa 1st gear at no need na masyado mag preno or kahit di na apak sa preno akala ko kasi on auto mode sya ma sense na rin nya yung pababa na matarik which hindi pala wala pala sa features ng mux natin yung hill descent control..thanks sir..
Better late than never! I can't wait to see this 3.0 VGS on the streets. Nung makita ko ito sa Thailand last yr, it was on a Dmax, nakaka inggit. At least now magkakaroon na din tayo.
If I will buy an SUV today, the MU-x is the only SUV that gets my attention. Hindi ko talaga feel yung iba. Maganda sila pero I don't see myself owning them. The only other SUV that would sway me away from 3.0 VGS MU-x is when Toyota introduces the all new Fortuner.
Current 2.5 LS-A Meron na 10 in monitor di ba? So bale in addition sa new engine, additional items are the DRL, ESC, chrome muffler cutter and skid plates.
This 3.0L 4JJ1-TC of the MU-X has:
Power - 163ps*3200rpm
Torque - 380nm*1800-2200rpm
These figures are very similar to the outgoing Fort's or Hilux's 3.0L 1KD-FTV that also has 163ps*3400rpm but only 343nm*1400-3200rpm. I could bet that these engines would both behave the same way but if the Isuzu is more responsive, it will be nicer plus the fact that it comes with the timing gear/chain setup. Though it would have been nicer more if Isuzu instead brought the TCX version of the said engine with 177ps but I guess that's gonna be overpriced once it reaches here in our shores.
Hi everyone! New member hereplanning to buy MUX 2.5 4x2 AT this coming December kayalang i heard na maglalabas ng 3.0. Does it mean i should wait for Isuzu to release the 3.0 so i'll get better discount for the 2.5? TIA
Yes sister. Usually a bigger engine displacement means higher FC pwera nalang if there is issue on power to weight of the vehicle. Meaning if a vehicle is heavy, it could benefit from a more powerful engine. In the Mux's case, the 2.5 is more than ample to carry its weight which is lighter than most of its competitors so I think YES the 3.0 VGS will be a bit thirstier.![]()
