Mga sir tulong naman. Undecided ako sa lsa manual at lsa matic 3.0.

First time pa lang namin makakabili ng brand new na sasakyan.nasanay ako sa manual at sabi noon ng mga kaibigan ko na mas madali ang maintenance ng manual compared sa matic.

Pero featurewise sa matic ng mux 3.0 parang tempting. Safety features, at interior. Atbp. With a price difference of around 100k.

Worth it ba? Or should i stick to manual.
How about future maintenance? Is it more expensive if its matic?

It depends on the traffic density in your place sir. If the traffic is really heavy get the automatic and enjoy rowing the gears thru the manual mode hehe. Para saaking maintaining a Automatic / Manual ay di nagkakalayo sa presyo

I agree. Kung malakas pa tuhod mo at gusto mo talaga ng manual, di na pinagiisipan yan. Pero kung Manila traffic ka, go for the automatic.

Maintenance wise:

Manual transmission service 80-120k kms change clutch & related parts, depends on how you drive the car.

Automatic transmission anywhere around 180k-250k km you will definitely need to replace the torque converter, clutch discs (yes may lining ang automatic transmission), or the whole transmission assembly itself.

This will be my everyday route talisay batangas-tanauan-star toll-actex-calamba and vice versa. Malakas pa naman tuhod kung tutuusin.

Kung ako, basta kaya pa mag manual, manual ako. I don't care much about driving aids/electronics. Masaya na ako sa ABS and seatbelts.

Best talaga: test drive mo pareho to get a feel of each. Saka ka magdecide. ;)

Kami unang sasakyan namin manual talaga, simula nung nakabili kami ng automatic na mux napag isip namin na hindi na kami bibili ng manual sa sunod. Saamin lang po yan.

nakapag testdrive ako ng 3.0 4x2 ang sarap e drive pero ramdam ko humming sound sa engine. Hindi ko masyado ma tantsya kasi linakasan ng SA ang sounds pag paakyat na ang daan. Try ko e volume down para maramdaman ko pero pilit na naman nya e volume up. Naks naman. Gusto ko sana ma compare kung may marinig ako na engine sound sa loob kasi naibenta ko na ang xwind ko. May comparison ba kayo guys?

Pero I decided to choose manual din para mas exciting. Dun na din naman ako nasanay. Sayang lang available na without waiting yung matic na 3.0. Pero atleast nakatipid din ng 100k . Hehe
