Exactly sir ha ha ha. Kaya merong artificial shortage coz isuzu knows they dont have competitors in that market segment. The price of the new everest base model is within the range of LSA already.

Jacob, are you from marikina? 2.5 ba yang nakuha mo or 3.0? Reason I asked is there's another Mux owner kanina nung nagpapacarwash ako sa Marikina area. Same color as yours. Pero I think its a 2.5 na pinalagyan ng DRL and tailpipe finisher din

Havent test drive both the MUX and fortuner. Pero alam ko puro maganda sakyan sila kasi for now i own a crosswind for dispose kaya sanay na ako sa tagtag and being comfortable is not a factor na having eyeing both the fortuner and MUX

Comfort and space is one of the aces of the Mux. Engine is kinda lazy and wants to be driven at a relaxed pace. Kung okay sayo ito (its not built for speed anyway), the mux will fit your needs. Re fortuner, the current one has better acceleration and power on demand. But it the mux will catch it on long stretches. Engine is kinda noisy for me too upon initial revs.

Thank u sir djerms. I can feel you na how it rides cause u had first hand info regarding this vehicles.

    What do you mean

"WHATS ur take mga ka tsikoteers?"

Please backread sir, I have an LS-M MUX (mid variant). I bought it last December 2014, with the Fortuner, Montero, and Trailblazer taken into consideration. It was the best PPV for me at that time, since it ticks all the right boxes and it fits the bill.

I advised you to test drive both because you (and other forumers here) might not believe what I will say about the MUX vs the outgoing Fortuner.

I agree with Djerms about the MUX being very comfortable. You will not feel shaken when driving through bumpy roads unlike in the outgoing Fortuner which really is very bumpy even if the tire pressures are dropped. I don't feel comfortable driving and riding the Fortuner even if the agent told me TMPC has improved the softness of its suspension.

Engine noise in the MUX is barely noticeable when cruising at 2000rpm. Quieter when seated at the 2nd and 3rd rows. Overall NVH (Noise, Vibration, & Harshness) is significantly lower vs the Fortuner.

Power wise, while it may seem that the Fortuner has more on paper, both cars have enough for city driving, overtaking, and highway cruising. The MUX felt better when driving as it delivers full 320Nm torque at 1800-2800rpm, vs the Fortuner's 2KD-FTV with a surging 343Nm of torque that peaks at 2000rpm then decreases drastically as you go up the rev range.

Anyway it's up to you to decide. It's your money anyway. But the best way to judge any car is to test drive it yourself rather than believe in what strangers like me say on this forum.

Less 30k

Lucky you, sir. I called this dealer several times back in 1st quarter of 2015, I was not as lucky. They wouldn't even return my calls. I ended up getting my car somewhere else.

    same as mine.

Had ours done last Saturday, Silky Pearl White. Mukhang ako ang first MUx na nagpa glass coat using Pomponazzi.

My initial impression is that glass coating gives better than wax luster. Our car looks better than when it came out from the Casa a month ago, or even after personally applying Mothers and Meguiar's.

I only opted for the cheaper coating which they say could last 1 year or so. You get what you pay for considering the required prep before coating and the finished product. All exterior coated including the engine bay.

I only heard about this glass coating from the everest thread and on a separate thread about glass coating dito rin sa tsikot.

Madali sila kausap, you can call call Mr. Bryan Uy (09178399696) if you have questions. Kung gasgas lang I think you pay only a portion and not for the entire vehicle. If in doubt, always go for the cheaper version, in my opinion.

I think glass coating will give more brilliant shine sa darker vehicles. Sa pearl it makes the contours more obvious lalo na pag tinataman ng araw, I love staring at it.

PS: I am not related kina Bryan, just a satisfied customer. I did not met Bryan when they did our car but he made an effort to call me. Their shop is in a residentail area, they do only one car at a time so you can be assured that your car gets the TLC you expect. I think it's worth the investment kung shine and pag-uusapan. I still have to see how durable it is though. No worries for now .

Thanks bro. Am leaning in getting the isuzu LSM by end of the year. Diba mag one year na ang MUX since its launching pero wala pa ako nakita na mga second hand na binebnta. Usually kasi in a year span may makita kana sa OLX at sa mga car dealers.

Cguro very satisfied mga owners kung sa ganun kaya leaning in getting this one. [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]
