Nakadepende sa bank mo yan. Usually they want in house na ang insurance para easy din ang processing. Ask for discount na lang bro, show them the quote you have from the other insurance company, sabihin mo tapatan nila.

Can't imagine gaano ka tulin at fuel efficient ito.
Plus the diesel mivec in the 2.4 Montero is very revolutionary. Variable valve timing has gifted gasoline engnes so much efficiency. Now, diesel engines will have their taste of it.

Ask mo din dealer mo kung ano ang in-house or accredited nila na mga insurance. In my case, libre as BPI/MS yun first year, pero nakatali ako for the next 4 years and do not know how much bayaran ko come renewal Hassle din na wala tie-up (loose ang tie-up) ng dealer ko with BPI/MS... pag meron tie-up si Dealer with Insurance, pasa ka lang ng paper requirements and wait...tapos much less ang participation fee mo, like yun ka bro Aaron. Some of the folks just fill-in the form then sign some dealer forms tapos pay participation fee, tapos na :D. sa BPI/MS, haysss need to go their office pa and another place to confirm the claims for pictures, verification at appraisal ng damage...yan ang experience ko ng magkaroon ng gasgas si mux...assessed by dealer at 4k or less...my participation fee??? 6k kaya ayun I opt to get it done outside na lang with a friend who offer a helping hand...some drinks too as a sign of gesture hahaha.

Kung ito lang and option mo I would personally prefer acqua blue. Looks better IMHO. But silver could be easier to maintain.

After so much lurking and saving some cash, I've decided to take the plunge with the MUX 3.0 and applied with BPI. Just wondering why ambagal ng BPI to approve my loan. One day na wala pa. Ilan days/hours ba dapat? My previous two car loans (bayad na and sold na pareho) if i remember right were approved in two hours (not with BPI though). Granting that my loan is approved tomorrow (the money is already deposited with the bank), when can I say na "nabakuran" ko na yung unit?

Second, talaga po bang walang stock ng Titanium Silver? I prefer this color but had to settle with Pearl White kasi yun lang next preferred color ko na readily available. Nothing wrong with the color, but in our office we usually joke about that color as spermatic white and now...

Third, does the MUX prescribe synthetic engine oil or can mineral oil suffice?

Fourth, do we need turbo-timers? My house to office is only 3 minutes away, speed not more than 70kph. Baka mas matagal pa idling time sa travel. I searched the web and opinions are usually against using it. But for peace of mind, your suggestions would really matter.

Fifth, is the free 3M tint provided by Isuzu Casa decent enough? Those who had their MUX from Isuzu Alabang dealership, are you satisfied with the free tint they installed?

Lastly, how long does it take for a unit to be released from the moment you step inside the dealership to claim it? I will have to travel from the province to the Alabang dealership then drive the unit myself back to the province in a 10 hour ride. I wouldn't want to be driving tired.

Thank you in anticipation for your inputs!

1: mahigpit talaga ang BPI sa loans, unless may loan history ka na sa kanila, it would really take 2-3 days for approval. Napansin ko di gaano mahaba ang listahan ng repossessed cars ng BPI vs other banks like EastWest or PS Bank.

2: a few pages back may naghahanap din ng Titanium Silver, no stock din at Pearl White lang din ang available. I think Pearl White does look good but after 5 years parang nawawala na yung pearl shine nya, I noticed with older cars na initially ay pearl white. Parang nagiging off white na lang. Maybe a good sealant/protectant and a roofed garage will keep it from fading.

3: ang nilalagay ng Isuzu Dealers dito ay Semi Synthetic (IGMO Multi-Z)

4: If you don't have time to wait for your engine to idle, then a turbo timer is a must. Ang concern lang, parang hindi pa yata compatible sa LS-A units with push start/push off button.

5: My MUX had free full windshield + wrap around 3m medium black tint. It looks good kasi all black yung mux ko. heat rejection is so so (tagos pa din), and aninag ang mga sakay sa loob lalo pag direct sunlight. Had some window tint redone for free as well, may bubbles kasi at sablay yung cutting sa edge. Planning to change it after 1 more year siguro sulitin ko lang.

6: Schedule your pickup, and be firm with your agent that you don't want to spend a long time waiting for release when you go there. Basta ready na ang tint and add-ons, as well as complete ang paperwork, mabilis lang ang releasing.

For your No.5 question ask your sales if it is original 3m with dotted marking 3M kasi ganyan din offer nila sa akin free tint pero gagamitin nila not sure kung 3m kasi la naman marking inside dapat CS05 or CS20 ito yun may mga marking. Then ask ur sales kung talaga available your unit then ask your BPI branch for bank P.O and ATD. Para mapabilis. Di ko kinuha offer nila tint i paid 7k+++
Bago ka pumunta for release ask ur sales kung naoirmahan na lahat after your payment dami pipirma bago mailabas ako after lunch pinapunta nailabas ko 7pm hehehe guf luck
