Sirs just a question on the traction control/electronic stability control of our mu-X. Why does it have a turn off/on button? Does it wear faster if always turned on? Or are there driving situations when having no traction control is better? I'm a first time user of such feature. TIA.

Should you need more power, you can turn it off. In some situations, TCS can be a liability.

Leave it on. You'll eliminate hydroplaning over wet or dusty surfaces.

For deep mud or very rugged terrain, nothing beats a 4x4 with LSD
