Mga chief, pa advise naman. Am planning to replace my stock 17x5 rims to 17x9. Am still gonna be using the stock 255/65/r17 because I dont want any warranty issues.in the future (if ever). I did some research over the net and found this.
It shows that it can be done, however, I need to know your opinions specially to those who have tried it.
My questions are:
1. What will be the downside?
2. Would there be any warranty issues with the casa?
BTW, this is the set of wheels that am gonna be purchasing
Salamat po.

I've tried this site as well Will They Fit
I think the tire will stretch, then the inner rim will be an inch closer to the suspension strut.
That is considering +33 offset (not sure maybe +40) stock rims and KMC's tech data +18 offset.

Free replacement on parts involved. Pls read your limited warranty booklet nandun nakasulat kung ano ang coverage.
As for me, I claimed to warranty yung front right suspension thud concern ko. They replaced almost all bushings, front left and right suspension parts except the spring. Andun pa din yung thud sound. Waiting for their "further investigation" regarding the matter. Kaya di rin ako makapag upgrade ng suspension lift/wheels & tires.
Masyadong mabait si Aaronix. I describe the sound as sort of a bong! rather than a thud. Parang may solidness pa kasi ang thud. Yung tunog niya parang hollow na nakakainis. Parang sira ang shocks. Ganun. But you only notice it nga pag mataas ang panggagalingan ng right wheel tapos pabagsak siya. Hehe hirap explain.
