Dapat sa 2016 fortuner vs mux. pag old fortuner, mux ka nalang. nakakahilo bumyahe sa 2014 fortuner. cgurado may sumusuka tuwing mag byahe. test drive, test ride muna before you buy. Hindi na kasi puede isauli...

    Sirs pwuedude & e2romo,
Because of this practice by dealers, tuloy nawawalan sila ng prospective buyers ksi lumilipat na lang sa ibang brands ang iba. Am one of those who bought the other brand, instead. I just added the supposedly price of DI to my budget and got GLSV MS with higher engine ratings than our subject.

Congrats! Dumadami pa satisfied owners. Search for Team Isuzu Pilipinas or Isuzu mu-X Club Philippines on Facebook. About the tonneau cover, I got a pricelist of ICL (OEM Isuzu) accessories from Isuzu Manila. It sells for about 9,351 depending on the dealer though (pricier ng onti sa Q Ave.). Hopefully accesory shops in Banawe will have them too.

Looking for one also. Thanks for the advise.

We bought the Mux after checking out the possible looks and features of the upcoming Fortuner and Montero. With dependability, toughness and fuel efficiency as primary considerations, it was not difficult to decide on the Mux now. Throw in the creature comforts and features of the AT version, this is THE car for us. no regrets at all! Cheers!

hi all... dito na lang ako mag-post since ito ang pinaka-active na thread dito sa isuzu.

ask ko lang po saan nakakabili ng magandang shift knob for MT alterra.. pwede same type or different style. nasisira na kasi yung leather at stitches nungshift knob namin. how much po kaya magagastos?

    salamat po!

I think pwede ma pa aayos yan sa auto upholstery specialists, sa Hi-Lander din namin nasira na leather cover ng steering wheel and shift knob sa tagal, tinanggal na lang namin.

did a test drive last week. the the LS-A 4x2 drives like a sedan. very comfortable. Climate control is a win! ang ginaw sa loob.. Acceleration is on the low side compared to Monty.. driving visibility is also okay. I just hope its really fuel efficient specially in city driving. for those who already bought it, did you change the chain for the spare tire? para kasing ang daling nakawin ng spare tire. barely any security on it.

Di ko na tinanggal yung original chain sir, nagdagdag na lang ako ng mas makapal na chain pa.

Compared to Montero, Mu-X is way much fuel efficient; around 2-2.5km/L difference. Though my experience is limited only for the 4x2 AT 5-speed variants.
(NOTE: same route, same day/time range, same driver, several instances)

If I may add lang sir, kung concerned ka sa fuel efficiency, I assume that budget/cost of operating the car is of major concern (same as me). If you're planning to have your unit maintained in casa, try to research din po sa maintenance costs.
For PMS prices of Mu-X, please see my post on the following link.

Nope, nag add lang ako ng spare tire lock, dami na daw kasi nanakawan ng spare tire kaya I made sure na makabitan agad.

Can anyone please give comparative current figures of PMS costs for mux, tb, fort and monty? We know iba-iba rin depende sa casa, kaya kahit iyong known RANGE na lang po sana. I guess mahirap ito pero i hope may makagawa.

Kakatapos ko lang ng 20k km pms sir. Around 17k pesos yung siningil sakin.

Highly recommended ko pa naman MU-X sa father ko who might buy late this year or early 2016.
    Thanks
