Squeaking sound on brake drum normal? Hindi yata normal sir. Baka la na brake pad o baka wheel bearing.

Yeah, i do not think it is normal. It could lead to something more serious. I'm bringing back again to the casa my unit...i still hear the sound after two trips to casa. Bad trip lang kc considering it is a brand new car e dapat it is fault and worry free car.

    Hi,

I've been back reading (mga 30 pages worth na din) on this forumn for quite some time. I am also an avid fan of MU-X, pati sa panaginip dinadrive ko na to. haha! I'm a newbie in tsikot.com and not really familiar with the acronymns used.

Anyway, I gathered some info from the pages na nabasa ko na:

    Pros:
    - Feature-wise MU-x wont be behind its direct competitors (monty, fortuner, TB and everest)
    - Its not really underpowered based from other owners
    - Very comfortable ride

    Problems:
    - squeaking break sounds even for almost new units (unresolved yet)
    - BRR sound when hitting the 70kph+ mark (unresolved yet)

    Dealership
    - Dealers require you to buy insurance from them with insane add-on amount
    - requires D.I. as well (what's D.I.?)
    - Stock is still an issue
    - Overpriced LTO registration fee

Given the price point and features, its hard to beat this. However, baka meron puede magprovide ng info on the following:

    1. what's the average FC on the LS-A 4x2 on City and Long drive? What's the RPM at 100kph?
    2. I plan to buy from Isuzu alabang or makati. Do these dealers practice the bad habits above?
    3. Any update on the problems above?
    4. I will buy a unit through a Bank Loan, any tips?
    5. What's D.I.?
    6. Is there a MUX owners club here locally? any FB page?

Thanks po sa lahat ng tutulong.

I've been through 5 dealers looking for one who does not practice the dealer issues listed above by pquedude...in vain! Alabang, Malolos, Tarlac, Urdaneta, Cabanatuan.

Priority pa rin nila ang in-house, last priority mga cash buyers like me. At, pipila pa rin - no MUx available.

We got ours from Bulacan last September, they allow cash purchase as long as you avail their accessor package worth 10K. I dunno now kung same practice. But I only got the rain gutters, na disappoint ako nung di pala OEM Isuzu yung accessories nila.

You can also check out the Facebook group, may mga SAs na nagppost minsan para sa mga cash buyers.

legal ba yun bibili ka ng brand new car tapos may conditions pa from the dealer? (D.I., insurance, etc..)?

I find it weird kasi if they are willing to gamble a sure income vs haggling consumers for probable additional profit.

Anyway, do we have news on when the 3.0L variant will come out? Para kasing namention to dati sa Top Gear but can't find the article for some reason..

You maybe correct weisshorn. Yesterday i was at the casa and It was thoroughly explained by the lead/warranty technician that the squeaking sound is normal. He gave me the guarantee and we also tested some of the units there, me and my wife personally witnessing it.

I'm yearning of replacing the oem break pads but maybe after a year or so. Mawawala ba warranty pag pinapalit ng ibang brand un breakpads?

Thanks Guys and keep on sharing if you have issues with your unit. [emoji109][emoji2]

Isuzu is waiting for petron to release euro4 compliant fuels. As per Administrative Order 2015-04, fuels must comply to euro4 emissions as of july 2015.

I'm a lurker in this thread. Pero bakit pansin ko sa Isuzu at Ford may DI?
Never knew that thing, kasi sa Hyundai at Toyota wala.

Toyota is notorious dito sir dati nung unang labas ng Fortuner at 86.
Hyundai is same during the Tucson boom. If no DI, they force clients to avail via inhouse.
