Dapat may batas na bawal ito dahil the dealers exploit their market power and take advantage of the weaker car buyer.

Sa mga aspiring buyers, i suggest try to see the TRAILBLAZER kung 7 seater ang hanap nyo.in my judgement,di ko gusto build quality netong MU-X

It's not a comparison thread anyway. saka nakakasawa na ring basahin na mas malakas ang torque at hp ni TBZ alam na nating lahat yun pero some people keep posting it.

Some people here seem to think that power and torque only equates to top speeds and 0-100 times, and therefore not important as long as one can get to 100kph which is the legal hiway speed. But there are many uses of higher power and torque other than "getting to hiway speed" and hauling cargo and people. Take for example overtaking on a 2-lane road. One can not just go on the opposite lane knowing that the engine on his vehicle is not up to the job. Or how about going up on an incline from a stand still, fully loaded and in traffic! Do that with a mediocre engine (read, meager low end torque) and the guy behind you will be honking his horn mad as hell. Isuzu engines are known for very good low end grunt, which satisfies the latter case stated above. But to say that its performance is comparable to engines with better specs will be an outright lie. Between the MU-X and a Trailblazer I'd bet my life on the TB if I will be overtaking a 3-trailer long convoy of San Miguel beer trucks going up MacArthur along Rosario with a Solid North or 5 Star bus coming fast in the opposite lane! Yes sir, 200hp beats 136hp when you're overtaking!

    i agree.
if all we do with our cars is to pull heavy loads up an incline, then torque is what we need.
if what we aspire for is top speed, then it's HP.
but in the real world, we need a bit of both..
and while the specs are there on paper for everyone to peruse and compare, nothing beats actual driving to "see for ourselves"..

Hehehe unfair naman sir na i compare natin ung 2.8 tbz sa 2.5 mux xempre mas obvious na mas malakas and dapat lang na mas maganda talaga performance nung 2.8 tbz, xempre dapat ang comparison 2.5 mux vs 2.5 tbz and kung sakaling lumabas nga sana ung 3.0 vgs then may katapat na c 2.8 tbz

You won't realize the ups and downs of your vehicle if there's no negative comments. Bias naman yung puro praise na lang. We need to see the other side of it particularly sa mga aspiring buyers.kaya nga may forum di ba.

And also para mabasa din ito ng car manufacturers for them to do better.no offense.this is just a critic.

forum like helped a lot to decide what vehicle would i buy.

i have three options on what to buy: fortuner, mu-x and trailblazer. fortuner was the choice between me and my wife. but later on, based from MY assessment on specs and cost, trailblazer is my choice. but my wife prefers the mu-x. guys could enlighten me more on why i have to choose mu-x or trailblazer.

Can you identify what are your priorities and budget so that current owners here give their personal comments and experiences. General consensus between mu-x vs tbz is that for the 4x2 mu-x is better whereas it is the tbz for 4x4 totl. for fit and finish I guess fortuner is best of the 3, but I just love how the mu-x looks. Have you test driven both? That might be the tipping point of your decision.

peace in the home would be a good decision-maker.
if the mux is not really obnoxiously objectionable to you, go with wifey's choice.

i'm a big person, but because wifey has difficulty climbing up taller cars, i still have a small car in the garage..

We're in the same situation kaya lang TB sa wife ko and MU-X sa kin.
    Comparing the MU-X 4x2 A/T (1358K) against TB 4x2 L A/T (2015) (1398K)
    1) Present availability of the unit under Bank PO= MU-X waiting / TB anytime
    2) Freebies= MU-X basic only
    TB - LTO,CMortage, Insurance + basic + cash discount 79K (Bank PO)
    3) Interior Panalo ang MX-U- may LCD camera, sensor etc , back liban sa back compartment di pantay if flattened ang 3rd row but Isuzu is planning to have thin box para mapantay as optional.
    4) wheel MU-X 17" / TB 16"
    5) 3rd row more leg room - MU-X
    6) For me kasi mas maporma ang TB kahit walang roof rack

    Now, my questions are -
    1) prices of spare parts
    2) resale value
