    love your own sir.hahaha.
pero true, may added feature sa trip to empty etc etc. but i dont find it useful, but of course useful for others.
i find the fogs more useful and other safety features na nawala sa GL.

    hehehe. true! true!

others may find that MID uselful but not really for me. nothing beats calculating your FC in real time. but it is still a welcome addition to the new Tucson.

what should've been standard on all new Tucson models are ABS-EBD and fog lamps. these features are more useful and is a must have on all new modern vehicles.

i wonder what the interior of the GL CVVT looks like since it's the cheapest of the bunch (no side mirror signal repeaters, no ABS-EBD, no fog lamps, no steering wheel audio controls, etc).

as far as i know meron po abang na slot for the foglamp, as all hyundai units has

    rene tagle

yan ang draw back kapag gumaganda ang quality ng isang brand, nagiging competetive sya sa market, kaya tumataas din ang price, pero wag kayo masyado ma-dissapoint guys, when you try to compare it to other brands tucson ix would still come up on top of its predecessors, base price kasi ngaun ng honda crv is 1.250m then sabi sa aken ng friend ko from honda meron daw sila price increase na 50t, warranty nila is 3yrs lang compared to hyundai's 5yrs, tucson ix is still much cheaper, sa features di naman nagkakalayo

in my opinion yung GLS na 1.188m ang magiging mabenta sa market

actually it would appear na cheaper na ang escape considering yung promo nila right now.

ford escape XLT now only costs 999K and if you make a DP of at least 40%, you get the 0% interest promo. plus yung standard features are complete like 2 airbags (driver and passenger), ABS with EBD, and foglamps. pero warranty is still 3 years pa rin. kaso i think this is still the 2009 model and i'm not sure if this model has improved in FC but i have read some reviews that it has.

988k Tucson GL versus 999k Escape XLT

i would say that the Escape seems to be the value for money between the two. for the 11k price difference, you would get an automatic transmission, fog lamps, dual airbags, side mirror signal repeaters, abs-ebd, etc. although it only has 3 years warranty.

i would say yung 2006 - 2009 Tucson will be worth it since complete yung features neto like ABS with EBD, foglamps, airbags and considering yung price nya which starts from 938k. unlike yung sabi sa 2010 Tucson.

and since wala pa naman na release dto na 2010 Tucson, literally wala pa makakapagsabi kung sulit nga or hnd yung since wala pa nakakabili. let's wait and see n lng kung wala nga tlaga tong mga features na to.

Comparing the models releases here in the Phils. and Korea is not valid IMO. So your observation actually applies to all.

Oh, and iba ang HARI (Phil. Hyundai distributor) sa Columbia Motors (Phil. Kia distributor).

Columbia is much, much worse in terms of pricing for me.

yun nga lang. gasoline + automatic transmission + big engine is not a very good combination. hehe. pero one forumer who bought a 2009 Escape claims that he can achieve 10 kpl. that figure is already good for a gasoline SUV.

as of the moment, i can really say that the 2009 Tucson is "value for money" since it has all the necessary features at a low price.

let's just wait for the official specs of the 2010 Tucson so that we will know what features are being retained or removed from the predecessor.

too bad the 2010 Tucson GL CVVT variant doesn't have any of those. i think the current 2009 Tucson CVVT is a much value for money vehicle since it already has those necessary features at a low price. just my opinion though.

kaya nga hinabol na namin yung last unit. the 2009 tucson with crdi engine.

If we compare the 2010 tucson to ford escape in terms of fc mas matipid ba talaga ang tucson, as i read in the previous post nakaka-12km/liter daw ito (correct me if i am wrong). How does the Ford perform on this?

maganda talaga ang fuel mileage ng 2009 Tucson. tipid na nga for us to think na CVVT yung unit namin. how much more kung sa CRDi units. sulit talaga!

based sa claim ng manufacturer, mas matipid talaga ang 2010 Tucson. pero let's wait nalang for the actual fuel consumption computation when the motoring media starts test driving it.
