If this is true, I'm glad of my decision not to wait for the CRDi iX. To those who preferred to wait, let me say "I told you so". :D With this pricing, I think the MS will be a better buy.

I contacted Hyundai E.Rod and showed them I am buying the new Tucson.
Ang kaso P1.168M na raw from P1.048M.

Sabi ko CALL! kasi I need a vehicle for the Christmas Season saka ikakasal ako.
OFW ako and seriously I am paying cold cash (cashier's check)

Then today, tinext ako ng Hyundai. Sabi nila di pa raw available yung new Tucson. Yung mga units na darating (3 each per dealer) ay for display lang.

Ang real units na for sale ay SECOND WEEK pa raw ng January 2009.

I got pissed off. Told Hyundai that the DEAL IS OFF. I cant wait for January.

Sana kung di sila sure, hwag naman sila mangako.

buti nakahabol papala kami sa CRDi ng sleek silver. sabi kasi nila meron pa daw dadating na lumang tucson. ewan ko lang if magpaparating pa talaga sila. I think meron pa sabi kasi sa akin dati 2rd or 4th week of November. so mga nakapila nung october pa may makukuha sila malamang.

i think GL is the low-end variant. in the US, there are three trims of the Tucson: GL (low-end), GLS (middle) and SE (high-end).

Im assuming from the Korean website that the Tucson IX X20 Wannabe is similar to the 2nd variant. It costs 18.70m KRW. That's roughly 760,000 pesos. Add importation taxes & VAT kaya 300,000 ang difference from the Korea Market & Philippine Market.

The Tucson IX LX20 Luxury is similar to the 3rd variant. Thats 20.85m KRW. Thats roughly 845,000 with a difference of 345,000 pesos.

A Tucson IX X20 Luxury which is a 2.0 CRDi VGT model, 4x4, ABS-EBD, 6-speed Hmatic Transmission costs 23.40m KRW. That's roughly 950 thousand pesos. Add probably 400,000 pesos and I would predict then that they would introduce the CRDi 4x4 model in April at roughly 1,350,000 pesos!

To keep things in perspective... The 2010 Sta. Fe MLX Luxury model with 2.2 R-engine CRDi, eVGT costs 30.12m KRW. Thats roughly 1.225m. Add 450,000 pesos and the 2010 Sta. Fe will cost 1.675m.

Ang alam ko pards pagka naka arm yung car mo then gagamitan mo ng susi to open your car talagang mag iingay iyun kaya ginagawa ko if nasa bahay lang car ko di ko na pina pa activate yung keyless entry to lock the car instead pini pressed down ko nalang yung centralized lock both located sa passenger side at sa driver's side.

Mga tsikoteers yan na nga ba ang sinasabi ko sa Tucson ix 2010 model, grabe talaga sa bongga. Just imagine with panoramic sunroof at lcd tv rear viewing while backing, hindi mo na kelangan talagang magpakabit ng extra cam sa likod, all in one na eka nga.

Whitebug, saan ba un gaganapin unveiling niya? I will surely attend that event 100%. I am very excited talaga ng makita ko pa lang sa site ng Hyundai ang Tucson ix na yan hindi na ako mapakali, wag lang sana kokontra si commander I will surely have this thing. And the pricing I think is reasonable na kasi srp niya sa korea is aroung 898K (or korean money 240M yata un).

finally we have purchased my dad's tucson, although not in hyundai balintawak kasi wala pa yung unit nila doon na nag-iisa nalang daw. Kukunin pa sa stock yard nila, kaya medyo malabo pa iyon. Thanks to sir lui of hyundai abad santos for assisting us, last unit na nila yung nakuha namin.
