I have a Tucson gas and I had a Civic FD with 1.8L engine. I test drove an HR-V pero mas responsive, comfortable at tahimik pa rin sa akin yung Tucson. The old 1.8L plus the CVT combination seems to make the HR-V sluggish kaya hindi muna ako nagbalik Honda. Also, the HR-V has torsion beam while Tucson has independent rear suspension. Tucson, a compact crossover with its discount is even cheaper than many compact sedans and sub compact crossovers. I agree however that base Hyundais are so bare and that the features of the Hondas are very generous. I had to spend about 30k to put a good stereo, back up camera, sensor and remote key and security alarm for my Tucson.

Sir which dealer is this? Would it be okay to ask the number of your agent? Thanks!

i have a tucson 2010 crdi 4x4 with only 41k sa odo. Fortunate na walang major problems even after 8 years. Filters, oil and fluids, gulong and break pads palang ang mga napalitan. Not until today na pag nalubak medyo meron clunk naririnig sa ilalim. Metal to metal contact. Pinatingin ko sa trusted na mechanic and napansin namin yun rear engine support. I bought one sa goodgear. Original yun binili ko pero nun pinakabit ko na napansin ko meron part dun sa support na metal na tatama sa metal part din nun body once malubak ng matindi. Meron na ba dito nakapag palit ng rear engine support at naranasan nyo na din ba yun?

Is the engine support identical to the one removed? Is it possible the AWD variant has a different engine support from the FWD?

Exactly what happened also to my 2010 crdi gl unit with just 60k kms last month. Brought it to fronte and sira na lahat ng bushing, stab link and tie rod ends.

Two times kona na roadtrip to Bicol, wala akong napansin na tagtag. Baka tire pressure related yung naramdaman mong tagtag.

    Hi,

Just bought my 3rd Gen Tucson. I am satisfied with my car and intend on keeping it for long. Great value for money. Has all the basic features and none of the unnecessary ones. However, the free infotainment (ANDROID AVN) has old version of the OS -- 4.4.4. Pre-installed apps cannot be updated through google play and performance is somehow slow. USB ports read very slow (could barely read music and video files from 16GB/32GB USB device). Bluetooth is unstable too 8(

Am I the only lucky one here?

Please share your experience with your new Tucson infotainment (especially those who happened to receive free AVN upgrade on their new purchase ---10 inch Android AVN 4.4.4, Beryllium)

    Thanks.

Good afternoon. I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand 2016 Tucson GLS Diesel. Just wanted to ask if anyone had issues with theirs? Any advice or recommendations about the car? Thank in advance! Have a great day!

    That's good to hear.

We're on the same boat. I've been on the look out for a 2016-2017 CRDi variant to use as a daily driver. i have not read any big issues except for:
    - Spotty Hyundai service (which we've also encountered when we were making a warranty claim for the power window switch of our 2009 Tucson);
    - Suspension is not as durable (feedback i got from a former tsikoteer and from the Hyundai parts shop we go to), but it's not outright bad naman. Our 2009 has around 83,000 kms on the odo and the so far we've only changed the shocks.

Per my experience with the 2009 Tucson, it's had niggles here and there (door handles that broke, shifter bushing that required replacement of the shifter assembly to make the +/- function once again, broken power window and brake light switches, but these were all easily repaired at a reasonable cost outside of the CASA. No major mechanical issues therefore in terms of value for money, i'm still considering a Tucson CRDi.

Check out pricing difference of the second hands though as there are still okay discounts for brand new at the dealers as of January.

Guys, pwede pa confirm mabilis.. sa website ng hyundai PH walang passenger airbag ang GL series (gas and diesel). Is this really the case? Paano pumasa ito sa safett standard ng car manufacturing was planning to get the Diesel GL sana pero safety is a priority kasi

Thanks all. Now proud to be an owner of a GL despite the minimum to none bells and whistles [emoji848] Any recommendation on the following:

    - car alarm / keyless entry
    - rear sensor / camera
    - dashcam (thinking of a Yi Dashcam or those long mirrors that combos as a front/rear)
    - is automatic foldable mirrors possible when start/stop engine?

Most importantly, will doing these outside of casa void my warranty???

Thanks! Really happy i chose this over the HRV! The power and smoothness of the ride is well worth it!

*vinj - I assume you got it for less than 1M. That’s a steal if that’s the case.
