code alarm din yung sa kin. ganyan din, di siya responsive masyado. kelangan firm 1-2 sec press, may times na 3-4 presses bago mag lock/unlock. unlike yung mga honda na responsive yung keyless entry.

Hindi e. Di ko kasi masyado iniisp na battery dahil bagong-bago pa naman. How about you? Have you tried changing batteries?

Mga Tucson Masters patulong naman. I recently got a Tucson from Hyundai Greenhills/Ortigas.

Alarm is Code Alarm with key chain.

The first thing I noticed was that I have to hold the button down for 2s before the car would respond. I read in the Code Alarm manual that if you just press once, the alarm is supposed to arm, the doors lock, lights flash, and 1 chirp. If you press down for 2 seconds naman, it's supposed to arm, lock, flash, but no chirp.

So okay, for a 2s press, it appears my system is working normally. But how come nothing happens if I press less than 2s (i.e. press and release)?

Then, what really really bothered me was the other day, I went to Virra Mall Greenhills (I'm 40 years old and 20 years ago Greenhills was where you went kung may bago kang auto ). Anyway, I parked at the topmost level of one of the parking structures there and when I came out, my remote refused to work. It stopped working for maybe 5 hours, then it worked again. By that time, nasa QC na ako. As in Tomas Morato QC.

May sira ba alarm system ko? Any same experiences? Comments? Advices?

Share ko lang the things I picked up in my "search for truth". I called Winterpine, which is the Philippine distributor for Code Alarm. I was trying to explain to the girl that "kailangan dalawang segundo ko pindutin etc." but I guess medyo maingay on her end because it seems like she only heard "dalawang" and she said
"oo, talagang standard installation dalawang beses pipindutin."
So I thought "hmm... dalawang beses pindutin"?
And then I went to my Tucson and tried it, it worked nga talaga. So now I have two ways of working my remote: either 1 2s press, or 2 1s presses. Apparently, this is normal."

hindi ko alam sir eh,temporary lang assignment ko dito.ang hirap pati ng communication dito.hehehe.alam ko may taga tsikot ata na napunta ng china para bumili ng mga parts ng tucson.ask mo si sir SG baka kilala nya...ang ganda lang talaga ng projector
