The system in the Tucson is not full time AWD like in the Subaru.

Rather the system is similar to the RAV4 AWD. If you just travel mostly in the city, 99% of the time the system will be in FWD mode only. The system "kicks" when it detects slippage on either front wheel (FWD mode) then it transfers power to the rear wheels.

Kung kaya mo mag Santa Fe yun na lang. The Tucson is more new in terms of looks pero the SF is bigger and badder!

Actually the interior of the tucson is bigger than the SF, especially the 2nd row seats! Laki ng difference.

I beg to disagree, I have SF and I also check the 2010 Tucson sit in front and back and I found a bit smaller than SF parin

yes its torque on demand, but it has a lock button para kung gusto mo ng full time pwede din, afaik walang lock button ang rav4 and crv

In the CRV's "Realtime 4-Wheel drive", the system is not transparent at all to the driver, as the computer activates it only whenever its sensors tell it to and not the driver.

At least in the RAV4 and X-Trail, there's a button on the dash to activate the system whenever the driver decides to use of it.

nothing to worry about sir, thats just normal, in time mawawala din po yan, ganyan po talaga pag bago, mejo di pa kasi gaano gas gas ung brake pads at rotor disc ninyo kaya natunog yan

Thank you sir sa input, naramdaman ko din yan sound nung gamitin ko ung baby Tuc(son) namin for 1 week nga lang kasi kelangan ng bumalik sa work outside Pinas. Sana ok na siya pagbalik ko... Mis ko na nga si Tucson pati ung nagdrive si Mrs, hehehe

share ko lang po experience ko with my tuc. Same thing din po keep on hearing strange soung every time I step the breaks. I have my tuc for more than a year. And last month I had my 30k PMS, bago ko pa lang ipasok sa Casa di na nawala ang ingays galing sa front wheel. Hanggang sa malaman ko kailangan na daw ako magpalit ng brake pads a set. At nung bayaran na i paid 12thou just for the brake pad replacement etc. And total of 19k kasama na ang PMS.

Tsktsktsk... sakit sa bulsa.. pero now ok na ulit si tuc tuc.
