SG: ganda talaga ang Tucson. Congrats, kaw yata first naka crdi 4x4. but dapat nga take off na plastic. isn't it weird driving with plastic all over? when they were releasing mine, ganun din, plastic, told them, please take them off. hehehhehe.
[QUOTE=Starex_Gold;1448043]ayoko alisin yung mga plasticyung paper floor mats di ko pwede alisin kasi di ko pa nakukuha yung 3M Matting from CASA.
siguro after 1000 Kms check up nalang.
Take them off pag nandyan na plates mo noh......... props kasi yan to convince whoever accosts you regarding plates........d ba nag-i-issue ng extension invoices and delivery receipts ang dealer while you are waiting for the plates/registration.![]()
harold,
di ko nga alam kung magagamit ko yan dito sa pilipinas
pag naka ON yung Cruise Control, i set mo sya sa gusto mong speed (example 110KPH) tapos release mo na yung foot mo sa gas pedal, aandar na sya constant 110KPH
SG, mahirap ba alagaan ang diesel engine? dapat ba parating naka warm up sya before using it? tapos dapat ba bago patayin ang makina kelangan antay ka ng 2 to 3 min?
I plan to get the CRDi and this will be my first diesel engine car...
guys, curious lang ako about the full time 4wd (on demand). How does it work? I never drove a 4wd pa kc.

The system in the Tucson is not full time AWD like in the Subaru.
Rather the system is similar to the RAV4 AWD. If you just travel mostly in the city, 99% of the time the system will be in FWD mode only. The system "kicks" when it detects slippage on either front wheel (FWD mode) then it transfers power to the rear wheels.
at kung di ako nagkakamali, this time around, up to 50% power ang makukuha ng rear wheels (bale 50-50 sila nung front). yung old gen nasa ~20% lang
you know what, there should be a tucson mods thread around here.
post some pics maybe and where you bought those mods.. really makes it easier for all the owners right? plus, we get to appreciate our cars even more.
+eh?![]()
I got my unit in the last week of Jan even though I placed my order as early as Dec.09...I would say the fuel consumption for city driving is around 6-7 km/l, wc I think is quite average for an suv that size... overall, this tucson is a good buy...my only problem with it is that it doesn't have a coin pocket...had to buy a P20 coin purse in baguio nung nag break in ako![]()
