sir it depend on how long you will use, diesel need at least 5 years to justify the price diff if your everyday route mostly city diesel is more practical...performance wise diesel pa din...if you'll ask me diesel premium with panoramic sunroof,infinity sound system,pust start button,bigger lcd display etc...

*saipeme,roberto_mimosa: yes sir I assumed na city driving lang and 3 to 4 times a week lang gagamitin ni SG, pero I agree with the diesel technology today, iba na talaga un achievement compare sa mga gas variant ngayon, to compare un crdi namin running at 120km/hr * less or 2000rpm only, wala ka maramdaman na stress sa engine and tipid talaga sa diesel. My aunt just bought tucson 4x2 A/T almost 2 months na, sabi nya nag 7 to 8 km/l lang city driving madalas na byahe nya is Lagro QC to San Jose del Monte bulacan, walang traffic pero yun daw ang konsumo sa gas.

Baka maging ganito ang case. Everyday use or mga 4x a week tapos 6-8km run lang. Iniisip ko every short runs, sobra sama ng FC ng gas.

Btw, OT pero can anyone share the FC for a ford escape sa city driving? i'm considering shifting to escape kasi ang tagal ng order kong tucson eh. kailangan ko sana yung vehicle during the holy week to go home to the province... thanks

got the GLS gas bec hindi significant enough ang price ng gas vs diesel (10pesos?) and ang breakeven point ng additional cost for a diesel unit is mga ~3years pa. not including pa ang difference ng maintenance cost ng diesel.

pero kung mayaman ako ay may madami spare na pera.. ill get the premium at gagawin ko project car

tama starex gold kung kaya mo naman ang premium kunin mo nayan para mag ka unit kana,baka kasi kung pakawalan mo pa yan eh matagal ka na naman mag hihintay..hehehehe. ako kung may budget lang ako premium din kukunin ko kaso wala eh kaya GLS 4X2 lang ako

anybody can help me purchase the new tucson? im from cebu but the price here is too much, i really like the 4x2 GLS which is priced here in cebu at PHP1,280,00 compared to manila which is far more better and acceptable at PHP1,158,000

planned to purchase it in manila but i just dont know hw it works, please help fellow tsikoteer, TIA

mga sir may tanong lang ako..first time ko lang kasi mag karoon ng sasakyan.un bang pagpapaservice ng sasakyan eh susundan mo lang talaga ung kilometer(every 5K) or my time limit din?kasi ako lagi ako nasa abroad sa isang buwan cguro mga 4 to 5days ko lang nagagamit ang sasakyan ko kaya mahihirapan ako maabot agad ang 5K,cguro it will take 6 to 7 months.ok lang ba yun na ganun katagal bago ako mag pa service.tnx in advance mga sir

Ok lang yan brod ang 6-7 months. Hindi naman magdeteriorate ang lube oil nyan kasi hindi naman ginagamit.

Kami low mileage user kaya minsan once a year lang mag paservice, wala naman reklamo ang casa at di navoid ang warranty. Ang importante ay at least start ang engine every other day at possible drive around the block para uminit ang makina at ma charge ang baterya. Kailangan uminit ang makina para ang condensation (tubig) na naipon sa crankcase oil ay mag evaporate. Ang condensation kasi ay mangyayari sa overnite na malamig ang makina. (sa araw humid then lalamig sa gabi so magkakaroon ng tubig sa crankcase pakunti-kunti. Pag pinaandar ang makina at uminit ang langis ang tubig ay mag evaporate).

salamat sir,kala ko kasi may time limit din....hirap talaga OFW hehehe buti na nga lang nakakauwi ako every month atleast na eenjoy ko ang tucson ko.hehehehe.ung unit ko dec 15 ko pa nakuha mag 2K palang ang mileage ko.ung wife ko dinadrive nya around village namin para kahit papaano umaandar ang sasakyan..tnx for a very technical explanation.mechanical engineer ka ba?hows ur tucson?ok ba ang FC mo?parang medyo malakas sya sa gas.
