I will finally get my unit this week Can anyone share any tips or a checklist I need to double and triple check before hitting the road? Including paperwork and all? First time to personally buy a car and hope to do it right.

Also, how do I know if its new stock? sticker series, etc?

I just want to share my experience with my Tucson (M/T). A couple of weeks ago I noticed some clanking noise somewhere in the back somewhere directly from the shocks from the rear. So I decided to bring it to the Hyundai Manila Bay. They said they just need to tightened all the screws and after some test drive it was gone.

But after a couple of days after I was starting to hear it again, the problem is even when I'm driving in a flat road you will still hear the clanking sound. So again I brought it again to the dealer and informed the manager to better fix the problem, I dont care if how long it would take just as long as they find the root cause. That was a tuesday when I taken it to the casa then it was finally fixed on a saturday. The ROOT CAUSE of the problem was the STABALIZING JOINT they say which was causing the clanking sound. They had to replace the assemble and had it brought to HARI. They said the joint was WEAK, so it was then going to be send back to KOREA (as they claimed) for analysis.

They said it was the first ever reported incided case, know I just don't know if we have the same issue. I suggest you bring this to your dealer then have it fixed and analyzed.

Check the tire pressure immediately, i think it will come out sa casa around 45 to 50 PSI, suggested sa tucson manual is only 33 PSI.

ilang liters pa usually meron ang gas tank ng tucson 2010 pag umilaw na yng low fuel sign? any inputs regarding this, first tym lang kasi nkagamit ng fuel gauge na digital.

brader... tomorrow, i will be able to talk to the SA who gave me the 4x2 gls.. try ko tanongin sa kanya... as per my unit, i think the branch got an invoice from the plant for gls black for their dealership which was the one to be sold to me. naiintindihan ko ang nararamdaman mo hahahaha...

Verify if all tools are there as per manual especially the removable Towing Tool. Its suppose to be standard not option.

Congrats on your new car.

If you got the 4WD, you should have a cargo net included. It's should be together with the tools in the spare tire compartment. It's not in the specs of the local brochure but I asked for it coz I saw it in the specs of the U.S. version. I don't know if it's standard with the 4x2 variants. It's very useful if you have light or small cargo in the trunk, so it doesn't roll or move around while your driving. It also prevents objects in the trunk or luggage compartment from injuring you in the event of a collision or rollover.
