My family recently bought a light green 4x4 2.5li CRDi Intercooled Turbo Tuscon. It has ABS, TCS, etc. etc. We took it to Clark a few weeks back and we calculated the mileage and we got 13km/li on pure highway with about 10% city traffic. Ang sarap dalhin sa mga highway - sobrang tahimik ng makina when cruising at 100kph ...

Our variant has that 140+ps engine ... one can really notice the turbo kicking in when taking off from a stoplight

Finally there are now Tucson accessories available locally. I got an original Mobis back-up mirror for myself just this afternoon. Was tempted to get the rear spoiler but changed my mind because of the minor drilling that had to be done. Perhaps some other time. Besides, I still have to have it painted to match my Tuc's body color and would have to come back for it the next day. The others (chrome front grille, chrome fog lamp, side mirror and door handle covers) that I previously ordered from Korea are similarly priced, some even cheaper. The accessories currently available are the following:

Seat covers
OEM chrome interior molding set (4 spoke steering wheel)
Hyundai Mobis back-up mirror
OEM chrome door handle covers
OEM chrome Side mirror covers (partial cover, see pic above)
Hyundai Mobis side step bar
Hyundai Mobis Front bumper guard (see pics above)
Hyundai Mobis Rear bumper guard (see pics above)
Hyundai Mobis Rear spoiler (black)

Some items are also available at some Hyundai dealers but they charge 70%-90% higher! e.g. rear spoiler: dealer - P 16,900, their price - P 9,500 but you can still haggle for a discount. I likewise found out that they also supply to some Hyundai dealers as well. I spoke to some of the sales people and requested that they give my fellow Tucson owner friends a good deal as well in case any of you decide to drop by for a look see Just PM me for more details and who to look for. I'm surprised na meron na palang 2.5L na Tucson CRDi. Ang alam ko lang na ibang version ng CRDi e yung 2.0L w/ VGT e. ilan daw ang units ng Hyundai Makati na 2.5L and how much?

wala namang 2.5 sa tucson. meron yata yan yung 2.7 gas version for the EU market, saka yung variant na 142 PS, yan yung 2.0 VGT-CRDI na inilabas nila sa korea late last year yata yun. Nagkakamali naman talaga minsan dyan sa LTO, dun sa motor vechile inspection sa LTO, nakalagay sa engine ko e gas, so malamang typo error yan sa lto.

Wow! Wasn't aware they had a 2.5 CRDi, how much did you get it for? I wish they had the versions with 6 speed M/T here.
