200kph kaya ng SF. dati kumakagat pa ako sa mga naghahamong mga yan, 2.0 Focus Hatch nakakarera ko na dati at sa 180kph kahit alam kong kaya niya di na humabol, natakot siguro.

Yuichi has the CRDi 4x2.

I've tried 200kmh in Star Tollway with 7 passengers also with a 4x2 CRDi. hehehehe.

I don't race anymore. Freakin waste of fuel and my fuel money.

There's a tsikoteer here who owns a petrol variant, i'm not so sure about his top speed.

If you're concerned about top speed, there are ECU chip upgrades available for SF which improves the horsepower output to 190hp+ and torque to 395Nm+ maybe that'll enable the SF to go 240kmh.

Thanks a lot to all the peeps that replied to my query about the advantages of 4x4 over 4x2. Helped a lot to convince me to stick to 4x2 when i purchase my sta fe since i will be using mine 99% city driving.

wow, the sta fe really is fast given the top speed of the owners here.. that's one of the driving force of wanting to own the sta fe crdi.. you have the speed when you actually need it.. talagang the best, power and speed paired with economy and smooth driving from the VGT Crdi.. the BEST!

BTW, how much for the chip upgrade and where is this done? is it worth upgrading considering the limited place/space where we can use the 200 kph?
will the upgrade void the warranty? 5 years pa naman ang warranty now.

Last weekend, one of the dealer's SAs called me to inform me that i don't need to wait 60-90 days anymore if i place a 4x4 CRDI since HARI brings in some units even without firm orders. She said that HARI has units right now except the superior red. Confirmed ba to?

Accdg to her price is 1.653 M and these units come with dual airbags but still with no Dual auto aircon (unlike the AWD gas variant).

Would appreciate if anyone of you heard the same? Thanks.

A fresh new batch of sta fe just arrived and included are the 4x4 CRDi. The 1.640M price is for the 4x4 CRDi with only driver side air bag. i was informed that the new batch is priced more due to the dual airbags. I was asking my SA if there are units with the beige interior. Puro black na daw interiors now. I guess, the price difference of the 4x4 is not sulit if one intends to drive the sta fe in the city most of the time..

if only there are other amenities that goes with the 4x4, baka sulit pa...

ah okay sir. you are correct, the black interior easily hides dirt and grime and whatnot.. but since the interiors are leather, even if beige is easily tainted, isnt it also easily cleaned off? my previous starex has a beige interior and my xtrail now has grey and black, i like beige better..

also with innova and fortuner, elegant ang beige.

to all sta fe owners with beige interiors, are you having trouble keeping it clean? thanks peeps.

Re: locking the spare tire.

I was looking underneath one of the SF's at Lui's dealership (a white 4x2 CRDi)

It seems that it would be possible to secure a spare tire via the following method:
1. Chain goes up into one of the holes (space in between the spokes) of the alloy wheel.
2. Chain goes back down via the adjacent hole of the alloy wheel.
3. Chain then wraps around the differential basket (which is empty since it's a 4x2).
4. Chain is locked

I wasn't standing on my head long enough so I'd really appreciate if anyone can help me confirm this.

I'd advise using a plastic coated chain so as not to mar the finish of the alloy wheel.

my dad's explorer has beige interior. wala pa 2 years nangigitim nasa dumi yun built-in leather seats and even yun dash. although part of it can be blamed on our driver. madalas sya lang nakastambay dun

i guess the beige interiors looks neat at first but with the dirty environment of metro manila, the black interiors are more tailor made for us..

yes sir confirm po na may unit na ganito na ang SF. 4x4 CRDi w/ dual airbag. price po is 1.653M

tHIS IS VERY HARD FOR ME TO DO... Because, I absolutely LOVE my Superior Red CRDI 4x2 Sta Fe (Picture attached). Her upgrades include a rear tow hitch, rear bumper FOG lights (right side), Step Board from Shark Philippines, AND 20" matrix CONCEPT ONE / Nitto wheels. No Scratches nor dents and paint / shinyness beats all even brand new... (trust me, walang kikintab pa sa SF ko) even a brand new "same" color one... Shine and paint curtesy of Adams Car Polishes (the best in the market)...

UNFORTUNATELY, I HAVE TO SELL HER NA DUE TO PERSONAL REASONS MY SIDE.... JUST IN CASE SOME OF YOU HERE KNOW ANYONE:

lui, paki specify naman yung system nyo if i purchase in cash basis magkano down then how many weeks yung unit will arrived[4x4 crdi dual air bag,sunroof]kailangan ba in person talaga sa downpayment or ok lang representative,let say,downpayment on sept then final full payment on oct...kasi nasa labas ako ng bansa.What about sa mga free lto registration etc ano na nangyari?...thanks very much indid.
