If not, meron na ba nag upgrade ng ganun? Magkano kaya ianbot just to give me an idea.

I'm in the market looking for a used 2011 santa fe, it would be great kung may kilala kayo who's selling theirs.
Been trying to register sa santafeclub ph but hanggang ngayon wala pang email e.
    TIA!

Hello Sta Fe Owners, planning to get a 2010 or 2011 second hand unit. Just need feedback for legroom space for tall drivers, how is it ba? I'm 186cm / 6'-1.5", Before i waste my time looking for one. TIA

At 5"10 I find the headroom and legroom more than sufficient, bro. Even in the 3rd row, legroom is still sufficient for me, though I do have to stoop a little. We just bought a 2nd hand 2011 SF 4x4, by the way.

Oo, okay yung 3rd row headroom, much better than SF3 pero I'm 5'5" and I find the rear legroom just exact for my height

Ahaha~ Long time no talk, bro! 3rd row legroom is not much, but at least better than the Fortuner's. I am still able to sit in there, na naka-slouch ng konti and with a slightly stooped head.

Mileage is already around 80K

Thanks Sir GTi, BTW, just a bit concerned lang after reading the "tranny problem", has this been resolved? Been eyeing a 2010 4x2 SF with just 34k/km on it, price was around P890k negotiable from a reputable 2nd hand car dealership here in Pampanga. I know it's a bit on the high side but payag nako as long as there is no "tranny problem". Will be asking for a test drive this week and hopefully the "symptoms" will show up during my test drive if there is indeed a problem with the unit.

IMHO 890k neg for this model is a pretty good price already, assuming that it is in good condition, and the mileage is authentic. Does the car have complete casa records? If so, you can ring up the dealership and inquire about the condition of the car. Or, you test drive it and, if possible, have it lifted at the nearest gas station and check for any leaks. What kind of tranny problem are you referring to, by the way?

Yes po, i do feel P890k is indeed a good deal assuming all is in good condition and the mileage, completely legit. So far, i have read about 3 posts here in tsikot regarding the SF "tranny problem", here is one link pertaining to a 2010 model:

Also, how do you find santa fe's suspension noise po? Is it true na kalampagin? this is based on some comments on SFclub: http://www.santafeclubph.com/forums/...p?topic=2390.0
Thanks for the tips again sir.

Thank you sir daplak sa reply, i'll add it sa pag assess in my decision.
i am confused lang based on the comments on SFCP, divided yung issue regarding sa kalampag. Others are fine while some are not, kaya medyo confused ako sa issue na ito. Some are even stating it is because of their deadening that they don't experience the kalampag others are saying. I thought they were just used to driving a sedan or what... Oh well, i guess i really have to test drive the unit to find out.
Thanks again for the replies po.

So far, I have not experienced the "kumakadyot". Transmission is as smooth as can be. There was once when I noticed a small leak (but with no noticeable impact on the performance of the tranny), and the casa recommended an oil seal change. Repair took around 1.5 hours. No problem with the tranny ever since. There is no jolt when shifting from "N" to "D", as is common in many matic cars. There is no shift shock either.

I have to say that both in our current 2011 4x4 unit, and the previous 2008 4x2 unit, I have never heard any noise from the suspension. Ride quality is quite good for an SUV, and has very minimal body roll. If you're very much used to a sedan, you'd probably find it slightly bouncy. I find the 4x4 to be somewhat bouncier than the old 4x2, probably due to the bigger 18 inch mags.
