    ---
Pero mali talaga ginawa niya. Kung mag-isa bakit hindi.

sorry po di kasi makapagpigil eh.. I used to drive a hearse that my ate owned I'm also a car mechanic and a technician. running at 200kph in finely paved asphalt road, A1 condition mid size vehicle, para kalang talaga nasa bahay whatching TV. provided na straight lang, kabisado mo ang road, at buo ang dibdib mo.. as what i said before sa isang thread dito, nagspeed test ako ng honda city ko when it was just 6mos old at 195kph kumabog dibdib ko kaya nagslow down n ako kahit kaya pa ng car. pero kung yung vehicle is already 4yrs old medyo mag iisip kana tumakbo ng sobra matulin nyan kasi yung ibang moving parts nya sa ilalim medyo malapit na bumigay yun. But still mali pa rin kami. kaya nga may speed limit eh para maiwasan road accidents.

    Hello fellow tsikoteers,

At last makukuha na din yung sta fe this coming weekend, thanks ulit kay Sir EJ of Hyundai Dasma for the sweet deal.

Just some Q's na hindi ko makita while back reading(sobrang lalim na siguro ng ibang info)

    1. Major difference ng 4x2 and 4x4 aside from the driving system?

    2. Okay lang ba na sa casa na bumili ng headrest monitor or sa maspro pa din maganda bumili?

Btw CASA quoted 18k for the headrest monitor.

    Thanks Much

ESP and Auto Climate control. The rest, madali nalang palitan.
    2. Okay lang ba na sa casa na bumili ng headrest monitor or sa maspro pa din maganda bumili?
NO. Kahit sa MASPRO. Naka active headrest yung Santa Fe (like the Tucson). Part ng safety system ng car yun. Pag pinalitan yung headrest, mawawala yung feature na yun.

What are the other differences po between the 2wd vs 4wd crdi aside from the driving system. ESP and auto climate control mentioned by starex_gold. I was asking the SA, pero kainis he didn't seem to know (or baka he thought wala ako pambili ) Website says, 17 vs 18inch wheels, euro grill design for the 4wd, leather vs fabric seats. ano pa po ba?

Yan lang. Yung difference sa looks madaling habulin eh. Unlike sa Tucson hindi kayang gayahin yung Panoramic Sunroof namin.

At meron pala mud guard ang 4X4. ECM rearveiw mirror.

    Santa Fe R-eVGT 4X4 vs. 4X2: (White Santa Fe - 4X2 / Black Santa Fe - 4X4)

    Exterior:

    * Grille (KDM for 4X2, EURO for 4X4)
    * Mags (17" for 4X2, 18" for 4X4)
    * Mud Guards (For 4X4)
    * Door Handles (Body color for 4X2, Chrome for 4X4)

    Interior:

    * Seats (Fabric for 4X2, Leather for 4X4)
    * Auto Climate Control (For 4X4)
    * Rearveiw Mirror (Electro Chromic for 4X4 aka Auto Dimming)

    HTH.

Nonetheless, either of the two. Panalong panalo ang SF.

Mismo. Kaya we chose the 4X2 kasi there's nothing special sa 4WD unlike sa Tucson "Premium"

    Diba?

same reason here. no real advantage ang 4x4 for our intended use of the SF.

Great. Thank you so much. may pics pa
Very informative forum. pasencya na at dami questions at makulit.

When i went to the dealer I only got a 40k discount from the price, no freebies for the 4x2. Sa mga recently bumili or nag inquire, any bigger discount or freebie? Sayang kasi, and we wanna get our money's worth.

    Nabasa ko sa Top Gear..

    http://www.topgear.com.ph/features/c...sport#comments

    Hi, Kenneth!
You're in luck. Rumors are flying around that Mitsubishi is introducing a revamped Montero Sport with a 5- or 6-speed automatic transmission, paddle shifters and a variable geometry turbine making anywhere between 170hp to 180hp--targeting the Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2l R-eVGT variant. If you can wait a bit more, then your options should be much more interesting.

As of now though, the Santa Fe is king of the highway-speed-demon SUV class as its powerful CRDi engine mated with the R-eVGT turbine and 6-speed automatic has no equal on the road despite having a displacement of only 2.2 liters. Its rivals all displace 3.0 liters or more yet they offer less peak torque and horsepower figures.
Thanks to the crossover unibody construction, the Santa Fe is far more refined, handles much better and rides much more comfortably than the Montero Sport, the Toyota Fortuner, the Isuzu D-Max and the Ford Everest--all of which utilize a ladder-on-frame chassis design.
The Santa Fe also rides significantly lower, is easier to get in and out of and has a far roomier interior. Clearly, for the average FIlipino who wants decent flood-wading capability, the Santa Fe is nigh on unbeatable.

The Santa Fe though takes poorly to off-roading because its independent front and rear suspension give it too much independent wheel articulation, which lessens its dynamic ground clearance--something the other SUVs, with their solid-axle rear ends, do not have a problem with.

So there you have it, hope this helps you, your aunt and your uncle out. Take care, God bless and good luck!

    Best Regards,
