I love Diesel engine, multi grade oil lng gamit ko change every 4T kms i dont use additives at an average of 100km/day tinatakbo nya. pero lets see after 4yrs kung sisirain ni santa fe expectation ko.

    Sir it's not the speed that you should look upon during break in period of your new car but instead the load of the engine.

    The gauge that you should be aware of the is the engine rpm not go beyond 4k rpm.

    Check the SFCP meron po dong guide on how to break in your new car.

    For the 2006-2009 D4EB Santa Fe, kailangan daw di lalagpas ng 2000RPM & 90km/h

    For the 2010 R-eVGT Santa Fe, walang speed limit, RPM limit lang (4000RPM)

    My SF acceleration improve by 35% after 2 years of use. The engine noise level still the same

    stable kasi ang santa fe na kahit super bilis mo na di mo pansin na ganon na speed mo.

    like nung weekend nag subic ako with family...nung nasa 180kph na ko tanong ko sa wife ko hulaan nya yung speed namin sabi nya 100kph lang. sabi ko tignan mo nasa 180kph na ko hehehe.

    sabi nga ng anak ko nung weekend sobrang bagal ng mga kasabay natin sa sctex kasi sa 100kph pa lang takbo natin e naiiwan na namin sila...e di nya alam e nasa between 160-180kph ang cruising speed ko nung time na yun...

    so yung 210kph na yan e very stable pa rin yan ang kagandahan sa santa fe. di comparable ang stability sa car lalo na sa high speed kakatakot sa car.

    Nakita ko na yung sinasabi niyong facelifted SF na naka LED tail lamps. Yung CLX na SF yata yon ...

    Nung isang araw ko nakita. ;) Naalala ko pa dati, naka stock TL's yun eh. Naka LED na pala now.

    so let say if your running 215kph on 4k RPM inde mo na pwede ibreach yun until 4.5k RPM to reach 220?

    or narereach na yung 220 at 4k RPM?

    Hello mga Mamme/Sirs, long time reader but 1st time poster. Just would like to ask your personal opinion regarding my situation. Hopefully by Feb - march of 2011 planning on buying my 1st new car and I really fell in love with the Tucson, GLS variant lang ok na ako pati sa price nya, im sure mababawasan pa yun dipende sa SA na kausap mo. I’ve been doing a lot of canvassing and reading/research sa forums nyo dami ko tips nakuha. I visited 2 Hyndai sites dito sa Las Pinas and Alabang area and pansin ko lang pinu-push talaga nila ang Santa fe which is like 200k diff, pero nde ko akalain na magugustuhan ko din yung Santa fe na 2.4 Gas AT, now im confused, iniisip ko is Tucson (VERRY Long wait) according to them, Santa Fe is may unit na available agad. Isip ko naman is price of Sta fe is Tucson CRDI na ang katapat. Honestly I plan on using my new SUV (if ever) weekends card lang, city drive madalas ako sa work, las pinas – makati or las pinas – tagaytay (minsan), single, no kids, nde naman ako maharurot na tao pag magmaneho, minsan lang pag sumasakit na tyan ko heheheheheh. So yun Black Sta fe ba (Gas) o White Tucson GLS …

    Share ko lang sa Hyndai alabang offer sakin sta fe is:
    - Disount (30 k) negotiable pa daw yun
    - 3M tint
    - Leather seat cover
    - Insurance comp. (free)
    - Chattel Mortgage (free)
    - Floor matting
    - Rain visor
    - Stepborad (promo daw nila yun nagyon)
    - Folding side mirror (Daw ! sabi nya)

    Pero hinde ko gusto in-house financing na cost nya saakin. Mataas !! im sure I could get a better deal sumwhere else pag dating sa financing. Thanks for giving time in reading my post. Hope you could give me some advise to make my decision easier.

    Kakaiba rin sir, alam ko hindi power folding ang side mirror ng Santa Fe 2.4 Theta II. Papalitan nila yung side mirror nung unit na ibibigay sa'yo para maging power folding?

    tama ka sir SG, honestly i must have mis heard him or sweet talk lang nya yun, pero nung sumakay ako sa loob ng SF white sa showroom parang ayaw ko nang bumaba hehehe. pero ang laki nya kse, sanay lang ako sa mga M/T na car kasi for 13 yrs yun lang minamaneho ko.

    Malapad talaga ang SF compare to MS, 4th, eve, cap, altera and even tucson

    Mga sirs salamat sa reply nyo, i just hope pag purchasing time na, i hope i make the best choice. parehas naman silang best choice for me, kung swertehin lang ako ma test drive yung dalawa cguro dun na talaga magkaka alaman. Hirap kasi pag tulo laway lang ako sa loob ng unit nila sa showroom hehehehehe. Grabe tong SF na to ... torture utak ko heheheheheh. :rofl:
