peeps, ano ba fuel consumption ng crdi? para sa V6, di ba nagimprove yung 6-7k/li? tsaka may mga modifaications na ba kayo lalo sa rims?
yes sir kapag bumabagal babalik siya mag-isa sa 1. also says in the manual, that sta fe will automatically shift upward once na reach yun red zone kph value.
sir *horsepower, di ko pa na-try 5 hehehe kasi sabi mo wag lampas ng 85kph sa break-in. kaka- 1000 pa lang namin last Sunday.
wala pa bang nakakakuha dyan ng steel gray color? papost nman ng pics.thanks!
has anyone here installed a turbo timer for the crdi version? would this be advisable?
we just idle it for a minute or two before turning off and go kinda slow when near our destination.
does anyone here know at what rpm the turbo engages (for the CRDI engine)?
i think the turbo is almost always on, Varaible Geometry Turbo kz, so supposedly it works in all rpms accounts for the power of a small 2.2 crdi engine. if am not mistaken starts to kick in at 1,600 rpm.![]()
i am contemplating on a santa fe, test drove the diesel version, and was asking if they sold any gas versions here in the province. and all takers are the diesel variant only, nobody bought the gas version here in pampanga. furthur researching the long term performance of the hyundai 2.2 crdi. before i make my choice
Hi guys, saan ba hyundai dealer ang excellent ang service?
Plano namin bumili ng santa fe next month sana.
Yung hindi ka ma-short change.![]()
sa C5, look for Ms.Gets

Anyway, it seems sikat na pala itong si Ms.Gets. Good for her, mabait at accomodating kasi sya.
it takes too much effort to reach 80kph onan old Mitsu diesel car. pero etong Hyundai CRDi, nasa 100kph ka na pala sa expressway on a Sunday mid-afternoon, hindi mo pa namamalayan.
Just wanted to put in my two cents worth. Me and the wife went to the Hyundai Fort "tent" - the showroom's still under construction - over the weekend and got a firsthand look at the Santa Fe and the Tuscon, both CRDi.
I really got interested with the Santa Fe as it looks like a good alternative to the Fortuner. Nice interior and a lot of nifty touches, like the conversation mirror, the overhead light for the sunvisor mirror, the felt-lined (or something like felt) glove box, cooler center-console box, door pillar-mounted rear aircon vents, self-leveling suspension, hydraulic mounts for the hood and, of course, the third row seats. Now for the gripes - 2nd row does not slide, 3rd row is a bit cramped (I'm almost 6ft and i couldn't return the 2nd row seats when seated in the 3rd row), no passenger-side airbag only driver-side, manual aircon (as opposed to auto air for the V6) and, lastly, no 4wd.
Conclusion - Very tempting, if you can afford the price. But I can't seem to shake off the feeling that I'd get short-changed if I were to buy the CRDi, given that the V6 version has better ameneties for a 60k difference. Hyundai should bring a CRDi version with all the amenities of the V6, less the engine of course, and price it at least 150k below the Fortuner 3.0. Now that would be sure sell for me.![]()

im also inquiring here at hyundai pampanga. they said if you want the gas one, you've got to place a reservation fee of 5k kasi wala silang outright stocks. gus2 ko rin sana non kaya lang sabi nung agent na beige interior lang yung available for V6, totoo ba yon? bat may narinig ako na may nakakuha ng gray at black? medyo cheap, IMO, kasi yung beige di gaya kung ivory. pero gaya mo reasearch muna pa about the CRDI.
Saw this sa parking lot the other day sa Robinson's... Kala ko talaga Forester hehe. Ganda
