C190,
Tnx for the reply but looks like i have no choice if I'll be installing the OEM rear spoiler. Check out these pics
I've heard of MOTUL's CRDI engine oil specifically formulated for our sensitive CRDI diesel engines. Haven't tried it coz my odo is past 3k na. Will try it cguro sa 5k checkup nalang but will have to confirm with the CASA if this will affect the warranty. I think I've read it somewhere in this thread that someone has already tried it narin. Why don't you check it out also.

I was at E. Rod kanina. I saw a Blue Titanium SF going in around lunch time, naka premium chrome grill, astig. Was that yours? 9,500 daw price.
My father-in-law to be owns a Hyundai Tucson and its really really great. Im looking at getting the 2007 Santa Fe, but I'm thinking twice since there were issues before about the after sales service. Remember the issue with the 2003 - 2005 Starex not getting parts and service. Has it now improved? Guys i need your help.
It's my first time to own a Hyundai and so far no complaints on after sales service. About 4 weeks ago my wife heard an unusual sound when starting her SF in the morning. She does not know anything about engines but she knows when there is something wrong because of the unusual noise. They diagnosed that the belt tensioner is defective but not that serious yet so she can still use the car. Dinala pa nga niya sa Tagaytay with that condition. The part was ordered by Prince motors. 2 weeks later they called my wife to get it replaced for free and under warranty. They don't have available belt tensioner at that time that's why it took 2 weeks to get the part. I just assumed the part came from Korea.
IMO test drive at pagisipan mabuti![]()
On the subject of air filters...
Drop-in air-filters don't really do all that much for power... they might make the engine feel a little more responsive, but the benefits aren't really all that great. And with today's modern, computer-controlled, sophisticated turbo-diesels, just changing any part of your intake or exhaust will not always result in added power... sometimes, quite the opposite, as the computer sees the change in the amount of air going in or out of the engine and adjusts the engine's operating parameters so that it's making exactly as much horsepower as before... or less.
The sure way to improve your Santa Fe's performance is through a performance chip like the Unichip or one of the many diesel tuning chips on the market right now. I think Kevin Limjoco writes about his experience with one in this month's (June, 2008) C! Magazine.
