sandali lang yan, wala pang 5 min. they use a computer to activate it, they just attach the wireless link to your cars computer and then using their computer they wirelessly activate it...

Ive been a silent reader of this forum since september 2007 during the time na di pa kami maka-decide kung crv o alterra bibilhin (ang labo no). This forum helped me a lot in deciding what SUV (actually CUV) to buy.

Last dec. 26 we got our 4x2 Santa Fe Platinum Silver at Hyundai EDSA.

Im not an owner but reading this thread really makes me want to go back to 2006 when my dad decided to buy a fortuner 4x2 gas. Back then, the SF was already available and I was the only one in our family that was considering it. I'm a non-conformist type of guy kasi kaya I always want to try something different. At that time, the SF was just released here in the Philippines. What attracted me was the design at first but after researching over the internet, I found all the amenities that came with it that you guys are raving about. Problem is my dad is my exact opposite, conservative to say the least. He's closed to the idea of Korean cars improving plus the fact that back in '06 Forts were still selling like hot pancakes. Fast forward to 2008 and my dad sees the number of SF's on the streets and tells me how impressed he is of this car. Then I reminded him that I suggested the SF back then as an option aside from the Fort and ang sabi ba naman sa akin wala pa daw SF nun. Waaah hirap talaga magpalaki ng parents haha. Oh well, now we're planning to put our old 1999 Pajero FM to rest and hopefully get the SF na.

When the Fortuner first came out, I said to myself Wow ang ganda, ang astig. But when you read forums such as Tsikot, you get better informed. Kaya ngayon, when i see a Fort on the street, I just say hmmm... not bad, but no way I'm never gonna buy me one

Here in CDO, napakabihira lang makakita ng SF as in. Whereas Forts, Crosswinds are like flooding. I saw one on display in our local Hyundai dealership couple of weeks ago. It's so so nice. Para bang u'r assured na it's really gonna be as good to drive as it looks.

I made a personal vow to get an SUV as my next car. and definitely SF tops my list (for now). Next is Tucson 4WD or its cousin Kia Sportage. Korean is the way to go for me
