Also try to clip ung seatbelt. Source ng noise din ito.

    * C190 : Sana nga it will be soon.My wife wants a light colored car so it was a toss up between white and silver, eventually we chose and ordered the latter.

    * sir Javoy : Oo nga eh I hope to enjoy my new ride soon

    * Nels76 : When i called HARI, they said they had no 4WD CRDi stock sa kanila or any of the dealers. Didn't personally check if Global had one (di kaya V6 Gas yung nandon). The titanium blue looks good but my wife was bent on a Silver one.

    * Minero : Indeed the SF is a treat for the family

The long time to decide seems trivial now compared to the wait and see on when my unit will arrive.

Just want to warn you guys... this morning, we went to attend mass at Magallanes at around 11am. Parked our SF sa side street across the Shell gas station (along Humabon Street) beside a vacant lot. There were also a lot of other cars parked in front of us as well as behind. After mass - around 11:45am, we walked back to the car and were shocked to find out that our ride had been broken into.

Basag ang glass sa rear driver side door, it was lying inside the car. It appeared as if a screw driver was inserted into the vertical bar beside the glass and pried until the glass shatterred. My wife's shoulder bag as well as my kid's back-pack were taken. The security guard, who was just about 3 or 4 cars away, said that he didn't see or hear anything. They kept on asking if I have car alarm, wala daw kasi silang narinig. We think that the alarm did go off since my wife's bag was lying on the floor on the other side of the car under the front seat. So they would have to open the door to get to it. We're thinking that either the security guard did hear the alarm but chose to ignore it or the alarm itself was too soft to be heard.

Grabe talaga... In broad daylight pa ito nangyari...

Anyway, please do be careful. I'm just relieved that my wife and kid are both safe. Will just charge this to experience (and insurance)...

    SORRY to hear that Bro..........

In my personal experience, i dont leave anything valuables inside the car coz it will serve as bait

Sana nakasama sila sa Glorietta 2
Sana kunin na sila ni Lord

    Sir Javoy,

It's really sad to hear about your experience because I know how it feels. Exactly the same thing happened to us early this year when I and my wife also attended mass one Sunday and we parked our car in a vacant lot beside the church. When we came back, basag rin ang rear window at natangay din bag ni misis at yung bagong cellphone nya.

pj2000- saan church yung incidence mo before?

blue_gambit- mas ok nga kung pwede lagyan ng shock sensor ang stock alarm, or better upgrade to premium aftermarket alarms with added features.

baka matagalan si javoy ma replace window glass- malamang oorderin pa to sa Korea, sana may stock dito

Wow! Sindikato nga! Iisa modus! Same thing happened to us early this year, although I was using my MB at the time. 5pm mass, I was parked near a security guard pa, we did not notice the right rear quarter window was broken into until when we are close to our house, actually it was my 4 year old son who first noticed it. Then my wife searched for her bag underneath the front seat where she stashed it before we went inside the church, wala na!!! Ang malas pa nito, it contained all the money supposedly for deposit sa bank for the checks we issued the week before and some checks "paid to cash".... we had to call those peolple involved to stop payment for the checks, imagine the hassle for those people, kakahiya, and guess what, the crooks even tried to deposit some of the checks twice, because of the bank secrecy law we could not do anything...... Wala rin nagawa police and barangay!! haayy philippines!!

for those who are concerned about the alarm of our SF you may want to take a look at this:

from the official website Official Website

Code Alarm CA310 (Upgrade Security to Factory Keyless Entry System)

    • Uses Factory Keyless Entry Remote Control Transmitter
    • Two Stage Interrupt
    • Flashing Lights
    • 125db Siren

you can upgrade your stock SF alarm and still retain the Hyundai Keyless Entry Remote...
