Please advise para jan na lang ako. Bukas na ako magpa-1k PMS.

Hyundai manila bay..... actually, before I took the unit out when I bought my SF , I specifically asked my SA if I can bring my own oil during check-ups and he asked the service advisor and agreed, just bring the oil that the manual specifies. Alam ko ko kasi na mas mahal ang oil sa casa eh.

After you login,
1. go to site requirements and follow the link to install the free Adobe SVG Viewer. This is necessary so that you could view the diagrams.
2. After installation of the required tools, go back to hmaservice page and select "Service Information", topmost option.
3. Then select car make, year and engine, if you like. Please note thatthere is no diesel engine since this is a US site.

The manual is not downloadable but you can save the web pages or print it.

I am thinking to use the power antenna or the remote power (both not in use) so that it will provide power to the antenna when HU is in use only. I'm just wondering why the need for a diode since DC power ito and I believe flows only in one direction. Anyway, thanks for the heads up C190...

Sorry bro...i had limited knowledge regarding electronics 101, i just observe the installers do the troubleshooting by tapping one of the free wires- trial and error until good signal is received, then he added a small diode before returning the HU in place.

i have been following this thread for a couple of months now cause i am planning to get a sf too..

to sf owners, i noticed that the dealers are making a killing with the pms of santa fe units.. even for 1k pms, the different dealers have their own unnecessary charges/works like engine washing, injector cleaner, brake cleaner, shop supplies and now tip top?? what the heck..

no offense meant mga sirs, but i am sure all sf owners are well to do, cause you can afford to shell out 1.5m for your car, and that's why these dealers charge you owners these items cause they know you will not complain paying for these items, albeit not necessary.

175 pesos for shop sullpies? ano yan, i week supply of pranela? hehe brake cleaner? sir bago lang sf mo bakit kailangan na linisin? even if linisin nila, 419 pesos? dapat libre na.. another sf owner was charged for engine cleaning for a unit used for 1t kms only..

i think its high time you call the attention of the dealers about their scheme of charging you owners unnecessary items.. IMHO...

this is true. sa nissan commonwealth i always specify not to clean my car after service. since same owner and same service bay ang niscom and hyundai commonwealth i also specify the same for my sf. taga talaga lalo na ang engine washing.

After the last couple of months of researching, going through tsikot threads, talking to owners of different makes/models and of course Test Drives. I've decided to get the AWD CRDi Santa Fe. I placed a reservation fee yesterday and will finalize purchase this November with a dealer (need to work with the bank now). The only sad thing is that HARI doesn't have any stock on-hand so I may need to wait anywhere from 30-90 days. I've still got my fingers crossed that by some miracle the unit will be here this November. The dealer already placed an order with HARI today.

Thank you all for helping me make an informed decision. I joined tsikot for this reason...and I'm completely satisfied with the outcome. I'll post in the future once i have my unit. In the meantime i will continue to follow the threads. More power to Tsikoteers and to all you SF owners. Hope to be a proud owner of this ***y beast really,really soon.

Chuaa: I bought mine sa erod for 2500. Kung walang stock ng front mudguard and interested ka sa second hand, I can sell mine. Tinangal ito nung ikinabit yung stepboard.

Thank you Sir minero. Sana mag dilang anghel ka at dumating nga within 30 days. It was a long decision making process since my top 3 choices the SF, Fort and Outlander i believe were all competent vehicles. My wife and kids were the clincher...they fell in love with the SF when i brought them to the dealer.

Had to max my company's budget so i chose the AWD CRDi. Originally i thought this variant was readily available since they included it in the dealer price list (along with the FWD CRDi and AWD V6). To my dismay...walang stock. Kulitin ko na lang HARI and the dealer to expedite shipment. Kung may EB this Q4...subukan kong sumama.

dragon napasin ko narin to, ginawa ko umupo ako sa likod at hinanap ko at napasin ko nagkikiskisan ang leather sa gitna kasi 60/40 split yung gitna nagkikiskisan kaya siya maingay, matigas naman seats ko, yun lang mga observations ko

May 4WD na Available sa Hyundai Global City. Ung Light Blue ang kulay.
I was there yesterday for my 1k PMS.

Pakuha mo sa HARI ung unit na yon sa Hyundai Global. he he he.

which one sa back ang may play,kung yung right side baka di naka lock sa flooring(eto yung folding if ur going to the 3rd row) or.....
try to recline a little bit both back rest.

Kawawa naman SF ko,never ko pa na carwash since i release sa casa,nalinisan lang sa 1k PMS sa Global....

kaya yesterday i brought her sa Julia Vargas for her first bath.

My office is in makati kasi. My plan was to bring it to the Ortigas first before
going to office kaso tinanghali ako ng alis. So my window to bring the car to the Casa is on lunch time. Kaya pinili ko na lang Global kasi malapit sa ofis.

Angtraffic na non sa Ayala when I was bringing my SF to Global. Binomba na pala ung Glorietta that time.

nasa P4,000 din ang cost ng 1k PMS ko.
Using Shell Helix Engine Oil and Top Up Fuel Additive and X1 R Engine Treatment. Kasama na pinlitan ung Oil Filter.

Free Labor, Vacuum and Car Wash.

I also plan External Detailing on my SF this end of October.


On the other note, I noticed na some casa will replace ATF on the 1k PMS, some don't. Sa Global di pa daw kailangan palitan. Pero sa Balintawak and Ortigas recommend replacing the ATF on the 1k PMS.

Possible din na ang seatbelts ang tumatama sa seats. Make sure na naka ipit ang seatbelts doon sa side clips when not in use.

same here. i was leaning towards the fortuner then but after looking at the sf and with the help of this forum, i decided to go for the sf. it was also a long decision making process for me. you will have a happy wife and kids when you get your ride. my wife and kids love the sf.

My wife and kid also like riding the SF especially sa NLEX, parang riding on a plane daw (without the turbulence). My son loves sitting on the 3rd row with his own cup holder and aircon vent/controls.
