Not just good buy but best buy IMHO. Very happy driving it.. Lagi akong napapa smile evrytime i press the pedal... Lalong ang laki ng smile ko sa FC...

I told him na from Cainta to Lipa which reads 100km exactly in my Trip A, i only consumed 5 Liters...(nag pa full tank ako sa Shell Marikina then Full tank sa Shell Lipa) my FC was 20km/Li...

Napa wow sya.. He told me he just bought a new Jazz and nalalakasan sya sa consumption

punta ako kanina sa hyundai cebu.. siiighh.. parang wala lng mga tao dun.. kami kami lng ng wife ko ang entertain sa isa't isa.. pero sige lng.. kotse naman habol ko ehh.. it just worries me, if my prob ang unit or we need help.. parang less accommodating mga tao dun..

OT na. .hehe but still happy ako sa nakita ko sa hatch.. pasok pa rin ang style.. wla nga lang Foglamps M/T sabi nong lalaki dun..

so far wala naman sa akin. that's probably due to allignment, balancing of the tires or suspension. have it checked for peace of mind.

Its ok pala. Malikot lang talga manibela because electric na yung power steering.

ser sa ngayon on hand ko lang for Accent/Verna ay : OEM stalk switch with Foglamp control (para sa mga 6M/T gusto install foglamps), puede din Side View mirror with LED side repeater (again para dun sa mga kumuha ng 6M/T)....actually madami makukunan sa China ng aftermarket Accessories....H.U.; LED scuff plate, Front Driver/Passenger ARM rest, etc. etc. etc.

Boss question lang po. sa mga MT variant owners. Napapansin nyo ba na mahirap magdownshift from 2nd to 1st gear unless galing sa full stop. pag umaandar ng mabagal tapos kelangan ko mg shift to first gear parang hindi agad pumapasok.

It's natural na hindi papasok talaga from 2nd to 1st kung hindi naka "full stop". Huwag mong sirain ang transmission mo.

1. Masyadong straight ang upuan sa likod. Slant pa sana ng konti
2. Wala man lang clock
3. Sanayin sa pag drive kasi medyo malakas mag jerk pag pasok mo from 2nd and 3rd lalo na pag low rpm.. Medyo sanayan talaga i drive pag city traffic
4. Sana mas maganda nilagay nilang HU

Yan lang so far pero napaka Minor... Sanay na ako i drive sa traffic kaya smooth na.. Yung upuan wala talaga tayo magagawa dun sa likod... Yung clock, meron ang HU pero napaka liit he he he... Upgrade ko na lang sa Touch LCD he he he

Hello Folks,

I have been lurking here for a while and reading the reviews. I am really interested on this car and might purchase one when I go back there. We also have Hyudai Accent here in the states but gas only. First thing that came to mind and seeing this car on the freeway it was really small next to the vehicles around here. Pero, I told myself maybe its good enough sa Philippines. I am really excited reading the reviews here specially the fuel consumption. My father drives a Hyundai Santa Fe and thats what I use to drive around town there which I think its pretty fast considering the roads there in the Philippines. I know this would be a big jump for me to drive a car like this and being diesel makes it even more interesting. I really like the AT version since it has the bigger wheel, side lamps turn signals and fogs. I saw one here in Irvine California and it was the salagubang green color (-: lol. Anyway, please keep the reviews keep on coming as we from the other side of the seas enjoy your post. Let me see if I can post a pic of the one I saw last night.

costly maintenance?... too early to speculate for such!.. further, 5 yrs naman ang warranty nya!

Comparing my Cost sa aking 1.6 Lancer vs Accent..

Mas malaki pa rin ang matitipid ko with the Accent... PMS cost ng dalawa eh halos hindi nagkakalayo.. Kahit pa sabihing mas malimit ang PMS ng Accent(every 5k km ) vs sa Lancer (Every 7.5k km), sa Gasolina pa lang eh lamang na lamang na ang Accent..

My 150 pesos gasoline per day balikan sa Lancer vs 200 pesos for 3 days balikan sa Accent going to office on City Traffic

Going to batangas every weekend cost me 1.2k on Gasoline alone balikan sa Batangas vs 400 pesos balikan sa batangas on accent.

If you do the math let say 6 months, how much do you think is the total cost of lancer on gasoline vs Accent

One month computation Lancer vs Accent

Lancer Office 20 days - 3000
Lancer Batangas - 4,800
Fuel cost 1 month - 7,800

Accent office 20 Days - 1333.00
Accent Batangas - 1600
Fuel Cost 1 month - 2,933.00

Savings on Fuel for Accent - 7,800 - 2,933 = 4,867 pesos

Just imagine i was able to save up 4,876.00php on fuel alone in a month. And ramdam na ramdam ko yan this one month that i ownt the Accent... Multiply it by 6 months.. Yun ang total savings Fuel alone... Kahit lumamang ng isang PMS ang Accent dahil mas frequent sa loob ng 6 months eh di pa rin aabot sa na save mo on Fuel...

Question po ulit mga boss. On a steep incline tapos traffic pag nabigla ko yun press sa brakes to keep me from moving backwards parang may naririnig ako na isang katok. pag moderate lang pag press ko sa brakes wala naman. is it just the sound of the disc brakes engaging? thanks

I have no problem changing gear from 2nd to 1st at slow speed... Lalo na kung ang situation eh yang binabanggit nyo..
