But anyway like i said earlier we really cannot compare the 2 cars since they are on different segments. the focus is around 1.1M while the accent will be around 700-800 depending on transmission. See the difference?
Well, theres a big difference in displacement nga (1.6 vs 2.0), so maybe thats where lies the difference. Although Sir GH mentioned that he considered na lower displacement yung sa Accent.

I heard an unconfirmed report that there will be no more shipments of the 1.4 MT for the meantime till the end of the year. If you wish to get an accent MT better get one soon or wait till further news. It seems that something big is coming for this to happen. hhhhmmmmmm?!

Hindi lang rin kasi displacement ang pagkakaiba nila. Magkaiba rin ang boost ng turbos na nakakabit. The Focus 2.0 TDCI's torque already breached the 300 mark, which is more than the previous gen 2.5 2KD-FTV without the VNT (shared by the old fortuner G, Hiace and Innova).

Note that I said the power band is short... I did not say there is not enough power.

    Kindly note the difference.

The Accent has good punch, but yeah, kinda bitin. I think this feeling was amplified by the fact that the tester was a four speed auto, with long gearing. On the Focus, with the six speed, you're in the next gear before you start missing the extra low rpm kick.

The manual should be better... But even when I drove the 1.6 in the i30 CRDi, it never felt nearly as strong as the Focus motor.

But the 2.0 CRDi R-eVGT in the Tucson? Epic. Put that 170 hp motor in an Elantra and it would eat the Focus TDCi for breakfast.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

ayon dun sa brochure sa page 13 ng thread na ito: passenger airbag, fog lamps, side repeaters tsaka 16" mags.
sulit kaya kung m/t nalang kunin then pakabit nalang yung fog lamps, side repaters at mags later on?

Rims at fogs pa lang, mas sulit na yung AT kaysa sa MT. But if I were to get one of these it'd definitely be a stick shift.

no sir! ang kakulay nya eh yung sa lumang starex, tapos ang magiging head unit nito is JVC 1 din, w/ blue tooth.

Exactly. Kaso hirap humanap nung 16" rims nito. So kung meron man, mahal din.
