my initial budget was 1M and will have to sell 1 car for the 86 or wrx since it's 1.65M and 1.25M respectively. was really up to it na but the 86 is out of stock and will be 3-6 months waiting for cash buyers. sa kakatingin sa ibang cars it got pretty hard to decide but finally boiled down to the ff:
- fc
- small car so the missus can drive also
- matic for everyday use in traffic
- newer model
- retain the suv and other car
i'll probably give it 5 more years for a chance to own another sports car.
yes mukhang wala na atang test drive units ngayon since nag kakaubusan ba daw and walang dating na shipment probably by last week of march or april pa daw.
medyo vip ang dating ko sa commonwealth kaya puede test drive. sa global i guess that they were assured na i'm reaaly gonna buy one plus i made a 5000 reservation.
btw, just got word that carbon grey matic is a phased out color, manual na lang daw meron.
sabagay. kala ko pa naman phased out as in naisipan na nila ipasok yung black, bronze(top choice ko sana) and apple green color.
got another word from another SA
grey a/t phased out and will be replaced by phantom black
sana alisin na din nila yung clean blue at palitan ng bronze :D or yung talagang color blue na nakikita natin sa mga pics.
to those asking kung ok sa arangkada...yes hanep sa arangkada! akala mo maiiwan ka sa upuan
don't forget that this has a 128 horsepower with 260 torque and VGT ( variable geometry turbo )...yes naka TURBO po! kaya dapat marunong gumamit ;)
Does a turbo engine require a cool down period?
Answer:
Yes, a Turbo requires a cooling down time. How long a time really depends on how hard the car was driven prior to wanting to turn it off.
A turbo requires oil to circulate through it in order to keep it cool and lubricated. When you turn your engine off, the Turbo will continue to spin only oil will stop being supplied to the turbo unless the engine is running. THis can cause th turbo to heat up, and for residual oil still on the turbine blades to "cake" on to them. Over time, unless you allow a col down period, you will notice a substancial difference in the performance of your turbo.
Most car manufacturers will not even mention this to you when buying a car with a turbo, and if they do, they will generally recomend a cool down period of 10 seconds. I would suggest 30 seconds after regular driving, and 1 - 1 1/2 minutes after hard driving. from google
